From your descriptions, it’s not clear what resource/files were showing the 404 status- was it some files that were loading from the theme? Or, was it some other files from some plugin/site?

Snowbird doesn’t include any JQuery file within the theme, instead it loads jQuery included within WordPress core. So not sure what file were updated by the plugin jQuery updater.

Anyway, glad that you were able to solve things somehow.

By default, there is no field for YouTube, or Snapchat. May be we can add an admin option to enable/disable more social media links.
