This is still going on – got

Download failed.: cURL error 35: Unknown SSL protocol error in connection to downloads.www.ads-software.com:443

after trying to download and install the newest WordPress update. This was after I got an email that the auto-update failed. Is this still going on for others?

This has been happening for me since late last night, and now I’m unable to download the newest WordPress update as well, from inside my Admin panel. Same error messages.

It’s not very intuitive of a design decision, is it? That’s the workaround I came up with on my own [adding the parent in the submenu too], but I was sure it had to be an issue, because not having the parent clickable makes no sense and is clunky navigation.
