Hi upon further investigation, I noticed that the error only happens in Safari browsers, and the functionality is normal in Chrome browsers. Though I have always used Safari browsers and it was fine before. Any advice on potential fix? If not I will use chrome browsers when issuing refunds. Thank you.

Yes I have identified the issue. Turns out the database is too big for my host and they put a stop on it. I will try to reduce the size of my database. Thanks.

I can reactive it for you to test out. Please let me know if you need a coupon code as well. Currently other discounts work, the only issue is with gift card/ store credit type codes.

I already know that it is a conflict between Jetpack and Smart Coupons. The same code worked when either Jetpack or Smart Coupons was deactivated.

As it turns out, the reason for the issue was that certain items are marked as “sync and hide” in woocommerce. I have no idea as to why that option was chosen for certain products, but I have corrected the problem by changing the preference to “sync and show”.

Also just to add to the info – our current setting is that “authorize and capture payment when order is placed”, which hasn’t changed since we started using the plugin. Unfortunately it only authorizes and does not capture automatically anymore.
