It turns out that my assumption wasn’t far from incorrect. An oddity was discovered in the database where, at some point during some update, the credentials that WP had for SFTP were incorrect. Updating the credentials manually fixed things. I’d post more information about this, but I don’t have specifics. GoDaddy ended up looking into this for me. I’m not exactly sure what they ended up changing, but the issue is resolved.

When I change the theme to 2016, I do get a different URL structure. In this case where I had ‘slug’ before I now see ‘events.’

Thank you for sharing the documentation, but I’m afraid that I don’t understand it. Is it possible that you might be able to instruct me on where to go to change a custom theme’s URL structure so that we don’t see ‘slug?’

Uninstall, manual clean of cache, and deleted WP Super Cache entries in .htaccess solved the problem.

Have you tried clearing all the SuperCache data from your .htaccess file to see if your regular site comes back?

Tossing a bump in here.

After talking to the technical support folks at Zoho, we discovered that they realize that there’s a problem here and that they have no intention on investing any time in finding a resolution at this point. So we quit Zoho for another CRM service
