In reply to: [WooCommerce] CRITICAL: 8.1.1 creates only broken ordersI installed 8.1.1 it broke the dashboard, told me I am running a development unstable version and to run some -ppm command or install the full version, I did not even risk losing orders, I rolled it back until it is resolved. Crickets from woocommerce.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Process your orders on the go. Get the app.@mattthomas-photography
“still can’t believe forced this across every site running 7.0.0” I could not agree more, it is about as slimy as a developer can get injecting ads/content in to your customers emails. What next? Woocommerce popup ads and redirects when customers click our products? If this is accepted thats whats coming next.

In reply to: [Hide SEO Bloat] Suggestion Update Yoast | WoocommerceThank you so much Pieter, hope you had a great weekend!
@davengmgw so strange, the domain is set in WP Settings, they can simply just strip everything before it “$wp_domain = parse_url($url, PHP_URL_HOST);” why it is grabbing the domain explicitly for error checking but it still uses the admin email set in wp settings to send emails?
It clearly does not send emails with [email protected] as produced in the error, it still uses the admin email to send email regardless of the error… so what is this error checking for exactly?
It would appear the purpose is to ensure the admin email matches the domain but why on earth would a developer check [email protected] and then blindly check the domain set without stripping everything before it… kind of odd, especially when it still sends emails with the admin email set regardless of what it is, matches or not.
@davengmgw Try the most recent update, it is fixed now. @prashantrai thanks for noticing me, appreciate it..
@davengmgw Clearly, by the way they tried to dismiss my OP and not includ me in any replies; You said it correct it in your first reply ‘I understand that WPForms is promoting the WP Mail SMTP plugin’ which entirely the reason for the “error”. PHP mail() has issues lol…

@prashantrai Does this apply to me as well or just @davengmgw? I was the OP, should I wait for a different update for myself?

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Better now but still a waste of timeSounds good, I appreciate your encouragement. It was @dualjack’s review, one I felt the need to reply to, after all.
You’re welcome, will do.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Better now but still a waste of time@dualjack Have you also noticed you need more CSS then ever before to correct the gaps, spacing, alignment, responsive view (yes I am aware some “stack”), the “welcome” nag is still set by a cookie …
I think they are on to something “good” but even to this day the WELCOME NAG is still set by a cookie when it should be stored in the database and binded to the dismiss function like every other developer on this platform does. Why they ignore the community amazes me, the solution to the toolbar blocking content you are trying to edit was locking it to the top of the editing window… guess where that setting is stored… in a cookie. So you know, when you clear your cache you can do it all over again for every site you run or manage … lol.
Simple stuff like this, ignored.
Makes no sense.Sounds good, cheers. ??
Actually all HTML is stripped from these fields,,
<a href="https://domain.com/somepage">Link</a>
is an example, pretty basic. is also<font>
is stripped. As well, if you reset one of the fields it adds , example:
Earn <strong>{points} {points_label}</strong> worth <strong>{points_value}</strong>
However when you save, it strips it.
Great plugin btw, appreciate the reply, thank you.
Appreciate you chiming in, maybe I did not explain the issue in the best way to explain what the problem is, but you covered it nicely, thank you. Hopefully it is understood now and I am not the crazy guy in the room … LOL.
Thanks so much for the quick reply, this is why I am confused by the error, the email is set in WPAdmin “Settings” as [email protected] yet it gives the error that the email does not match the domain “www.domain.com” and suggests to set an email address that matches such as [email protected] (which literally makes no sense).
It looks like it is grabbing the domain from WordPress URL in settings and not checking the email against the domain without the “www”.
Example:
[email protected] it is comparing it to “www.domain.com” rather than “domain.com” which of course would equal a match and not produce the error. ??I will look at the code this weekend when I am off work.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] I remember when it WAS a Great plugin.I ams so sorry to hear that, “can’t revert your account to manual renewal”, sure they can, but unfortunately this is becoming all too common with subscription based business models for plugins, I myself support lifetime developers and I am happy to pay the higher price.
If you have not resolved your issue with getting your money back, contact the credit card processor and Visa/Mastercard International, the merchant, credit card processor are required to have a return policy, this is required in order to accept visa/mastercard.
Yoast is a “merchant” they either process through a 3rd party or with their own merchant account, if you cannot figure out which, contact Visa / Mastercard International and your problem will be resolved super quick. ??
