I took out all the style for the flash stuff, then had to also delete the folder containing the flash elements on my ftp.

Some themes do this by default. I’m thinking if you can locate one you can check the stylesheet to see how they did it.

I’m not the best one to tell you the code myself; so that’s my advice for now!

Hi, I have been messing around with it – it seems to be a problem with the importing.

Sometimes it works (ie at one point everything on the home page was doubled when I tried to import again). No idea how to fix it right now.

As mentioned, it’s just the home page (you can see there is no menu or anything on the home page, not just the images are missing).

UPDATE: FYI, copying these files to the theme folder did not result in the Thickbox coming to the ‘front’. Still working on it.

Hi I just read the readme.txt file which contains:

Copy the thickbox-header.php and the thickbox-page.php files into the folder of the theme you’re using.
For example, if your current theme is Default – copy the files into /wp-content/themes/default

I have not done this; and yet the plugin is working. Would this make a difference? You can see the result currently at https://www.artemisled.com and click on the “Join Us!” button in the sidebar.

Interesting comment but I do not see why inserting a two column, 1 row table into a post is such a bad thing. Still no one has outlined or linked to a better solution, or even a solution to my initial question.

I actually didn’t find anything that was written helpful, or in any way related to my post except for this: “In core.css you have “vertical-align:baseline””, which wasn’t really helpful in and of itself.

I had no idea whatsoever that you could put stylesheets inside individual posts!

EDIT: Thanks for the link Cooper; I will have a look. I have never written a stylesheet from scratch. Perhaps the term “website designer” isn’t the right word right now. I have been for various reasons contracted a couple of times to professionally (ie paid to) create websites. So far, it has worked out well, and the customers have been more than satisfied with the results. Some people don’t read music but are able to write a great album. Why don’t we all relax with the funky comments! Thanks everybody!

I have just begun to setup websites using wordpress (first one was last year for a family member), and have done some work now through a business contact. This is my personal site so I am free to mess around with it to my heart’s content.

Just trying to get to the bottom of this. If you have a better way I would love to hear about it!
