Glad for you if you are confident in what you are saying.
But the truth is simply that your standard version doesn’t clean anything at all and doesn’t allow the plugin to be tested. Why not offer a standard version that identifies and deletes, let’s say, 5 images in custom posts and for all cms. There we will be able to test and judge.
I have around twenty sites, no way that I pay you $480/year to use the plugin just once a year and then not anymore afterwards.

    Again, useless plugin.

    It’s not exactly that.
The standard version didn’t allow me to try the plugin myself except to see that it didn’t work with Enfold.
The author was able to clean up one of my test sites that was using Enfold by installing a temporary Pro version, but I was unable to do it myself.
And regarding the price they ask for a plugin that will be used barely once a year, it is just crazy. Especially if you manage a lot of sites.
As I told them, a standard backup plugin which is used every day and all year round, only costs around €100/year for 30 to 40 sites.
So it’s not worth it for me. It’s better to spend an hour cleaning manually.

Ok. This is what I get with the free version.

How can I send you the admin/pwd without being public ?

    Hi,

First I want to say that I tried a dozen of media cleaning plugins.

None of them were reliable and I always ended with a broken website. At this point I was wondering if Enfold could be the culprit I only use Enfold) and I gave up.

So when I read that your plugin was Enfold compatible I decided to give it a try. But sadly the result is as bad as the other ones.

I am not using specific images nor anything special. But when all images displayed in Masonry galleries (which are tandard and basic Enfold components), this is not the kind of Enfold compatibility I was expecting.

If you want to help le and show that your plugin works well I would be very leased to buy and recommend it around me.
But for sure if I need to check all the files one by one after runing it, I prefer to keep all the unused files.

    Hi there,

I am testing Media Hygiene on a website which runs Enfold Theme and Avia Editor.
The initial scan marks all my mp4 videos (that are located in masonry galleries under custom links) as unused. But they are used.
Beside that, all m4v videos in other similar galleries are marked as used which is correct.

What can I do ? I don’t want to buy a Pro version to see that the problem remains.

    Hi,

    Great ! It is working.
    Thank you.

I know plain text is not secure. BTW MD5 seems to be stopped too in WP.
Filemaker has a function that returns hash strings (MD5, MDC2, SHA, SHA1, SHA224, SHA256, SHA384, SHA512). I tried all and no one is understood be WP.
    I.E for the passsword : 57tyFT14
The WP returned hash string is : $P$BjXWCNSrWJIsYILUAstFYSZDL2WzGU/
The FMP MD5 returned hash string is : A3424BD55371BC510F167F61A6897E68
I tried to encode into Base64 with no result.
The only hash string that worked for me has been is a Bcrypt hash string that I generated on a website online.
But I have no function in FMP to create Bcrypt hashes.
My import script is a FMP script then running an additional external python script or something else from within FMP would be difficult without a plugin … if exists.

    Thank you for replying.
Yes this is exactly what I found out.
Before 5.2.2 I was passing only plain text to the wp_user password field and it was encrypted immediately when filled. I don’t know what was doing this encryption. May be the database or WP itself. I don’t know.
But now it is not encrypted at all anymore (unless I push the button in the dashboard) and this is why it doesn’t work.
Now my problem is that my front end database is Filemaker and I do not have any tool to generate the correct hash within Filemaker.

Thank you so much. It works well.

    One last question :
Will your plugin overlap multiple calendars like iCal does ? Or maybe via CSS ?
That way I could have different colored events because that’s what I’m trying to do.

If not, doesn’t matter. This will give you an idea for the next release ! :-)))

    No. Sorry.
I meant ??closed days?? like week-ends could be.
BTW my working week should start on tuesdays and end on saturdays but iCal don’t want me to set such a particular week :-((
I tried to set my week like that but it does not works.
This is why I would like to change the cell’s background for sundays and mondays.

    It is working perfectly.
    Thank you very much.

Ahem … Is there a way to modify a specific event ? (based on its date and/or hour) and also modify the cell’s backgroud only for days off ? ;-)))
