Thank you for sharing this with us! I can only imagine how frustrating it must be to not see your Ninja Forms data transferring over. We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

While our plugin is designed to transfer the majority of WordPress data seamlessly, certain plugins—like Ninja Forms—might store their data in unique ways that aren’t automatically picked up during migration. This could be why the forms and submissions aren’t coming through.

That said, your feedback is invaluable, and we take it seriously. We’ll investigate this report to see if custom support for Ninja Forms might be needed. Your input helps us make the plugin better for everyone, and we’re grateful for your patience while we look into this.

If there’s anything else you’d like to share, we’re here to listen! ??

Thank you so much for reaching out! I’m really sorry to hear about the trouble you’re experiencing—it must be frustrating to have only part of the plugin working. Let’s see if we can figure this out together.

To help us get to the bottom of it, could you let us know a bit more about your setup? For example:
    – Is this happening on a fresh website or one that’s already been in use for a while?
    – Where is your site hosted? Sometimes, specific hosting environments might have unique configurations.
    – Have you tried reinstalling the plugin to see if that resolves the issue?

Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and we want to make sure you can use the plugin without any issues. If you can share these details, we’ll do our best to assist you quickly! ??

First, thank you so much for your kind words about the plugin and for being a long-time user! We’re thrilled to hear that you find it reliable and valuable—it’s feedback like yours that motivates us to keep improving.

Your suggestion about the settings interface is thoughtful, and we truly appreciate the time you took to share it. Focusing on “Do” options instead of “Do not” is an interesting perspective, and we can see how it might make the export process feel more intuitive for some users. That said, we designed the plugin with the idea that most users transfer their websites completely. The advanced options, such as excluding specific elements, are meant for more specialized cases, and for those who use them frequently, we offer the Schedules feature. With Schedules, you can save your exact preferences as a job and run it manually whenever needed—no need to check those boxes every time!

While this change would invert the way the plugin works, your feedback reminds us that every user has unique needs, and we’ll take it into consideration as we plan future updates. Your input helps us grow, and we’re grateful to have you as part of our community.

Thank you again for sharing your thoughts, and we’re here if you have any more ideas or questions! ??

It is fantastic that you are thinking carefully about your production site and how to protect the followers you’ve gained.

When using All-in-One WP Migration, it’s important to know its strengths. It’s an amazing tool for moving and backing up entire websites. However, it works by replacing everything on the production site with what’s in the backup file. This is why followers added on the live site are overwritten—they’re not part of the development backup.

It sounds like what you’re truly looking for is a way to sync changes between your development and production sites without losing important live data like followers. Unfortunately, All-in-One WP Migration isn’t built for syncing; it’s designed for full backups and migrations. Syncing requires a different kind of tool that merges data instead of replacing it.

That said, your passion for maintaining your live data while improving your site is inspiring. Finding the right tool for syncing will allow you to keep your data while continuing to build and improve your site.

    I hope this helps. ??

@anilankola Make sure to import on the same PHP and WordPress versions that you are exporting from.
If you need to transfer sites between different PHP and WordPress versions, incompatibilities with plugins happen – especially when you transfer between major PHP versions like PHP 5, 7, and 8.

After import, set WP_DEBUG to true in wp-config.php and observe the website for any errors from plugins or the theme.

You can also try the plugin with different PHP version here: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/all-in-one-wp-migration/?preview=1
I tried exporting a website using PHP v8 and importing the file on this environment without issues.

Likely a plugin or theme conflict. You can try to enable WP_DEBUG in wp-config.php file and then refresh the website to see any warnings/errors/deprecations etc.
I recommend to migrate between the same PHP versions.

PHP 5, 7, and 8 are all tested and supported by the plugin.

Yes, you can exclude the database and it will not be overwritten. However, most of the code is usually stored in the database when you are working with visual builders.
If you are asking for a way to Sync development site with live site, I am afraid this is not supported by the plugin.

There are multiple options you can use. I will list them all below and you can pick whichever is convenient for you.

    1. On backups page, you can click the 3 dots, the second list archive, and download the files you need
    2. Download Traktor desktop application and use it to extract the wpress backup: https://traktor.wp-migration.com/
    3. Use the web version of Traktor that works in your web browser to browse the content of a backup and extract the files you need: https://traktor.servmask.com/

Typically, when an issue appears isolated, it’s often related to specific hosting restrictions or server configurations. If we start seeing this with more users, we would certainly allocate time and resources to investigate further.

In the meantime, my primary focus is to help you successfully transfer your website, and I believe manually moving the media files will get us there quickly.

You will need to enable mod_rewrite on your webserver to enable pretty permalinks structure.
Please check with MAMP support or try the solutions described here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/36267799/how-to-correctly-activate-mod-rewrite-mamp

There are no changes to the export window in the latest version.
You will need to perform steps to try to isolate the issue:
    1. Try your browser in incognito mode
    2. Try a different browser
    3. Try to disable plugins one by one and then perform the export
