Did you enable the option Add settings for each article in the plugin preferences? IN that case the alcohol flag could be set in each article. If nothing helps, have you tried resetting your plugin preferences to default?

I have just noticed that Chromium’s inspector displays the player correctly, though the inspector outputs the same warning as above

Can you post an example video so I can try and reproduce your problem?

I did take a look and I can confirm that the “Tweet Tweet” gets added. While I’m not sure why Sharebar behaves like this, I came across other support requests regarding this.

The first post has a solution how to fix this, but it didn’t work for me, which might be related to the 10 PHP warnings Sharebar’s option page produces on my blog (however, I’m using WordPress 3.9 beta 3!)

Another solution, though not the best option to go with, would be using custom excerpts for your posts.

I’d still report this problem to the author of Sharebar. The problem you described shows up whenever a plugin or theme is using the standard WordPress function get_the_excerpt, hence it is not caused by OGraphr.

If you tracked down that plugin as the source of your problem, you should probably tell the author of that plugin ??

I doubt that his has anything to do with it. You can always test OpenGraph tags in the Facebook debugger.

while i don’t like messing in a plugin’s code, i was very happy to have come across this. thanks!

i’m using viper’s video quicktags myself, it does not interfere with ographr. you should disable your plugins one by one to track down the interfering plugin. i can take a look then.

I do remember that the filter is only working in one of the settings, but I’ll have to look into why that is (and if this can be changed). It was also planned (or still is) to support RegEx patterns at some point.

Also, I agree on the “Exclude includes” label. The current tooltip might not be enough to explain this, but at the same time I like to keep things brief. Maybe wp-includes is more obvious, as that’s the actual name of the directory.

sorry for the late reply, my email trigger wasn’t working. you can enable per-post settings on the options page for the plugin.

1. click ‘show advanced option’
2. scroll down to ‘expert settings’
3. activate ‘add settings for each article’

it’s one of the features i’m not totally happy yet with, but it should work.
