Still very much a wp newbie myself…. a few questions here

Were you hoping to use the rss widget to add the following feature?

Is there a setting for making nutbugs.com/feed/ a feed?

I have tried the rss widget and I thought the purpose for it was to show a feed from an external site and not your own site?

I would appreciate some insight on this

I just installed the lexi plugin this morning and it seems pretty good so far. I would like to know if anyone knows how to modify the code so that links in the feed open in a new window.

I just posted something similar about RSSImport before seeing this post. If anyone has gotten it to work would love to hear about it. I second the comments on the rsswidget. I’ve just started experimenting with worpress and the inabilty to show the widget ouput in the main page seems to me to be a major shortcoming.

I found the answer to the content question… still curious about the home button link.

A few questions here that nobody seemed to answer. I’m using version 2.7.1

How do you set or determine if your home page is a content page or a posts page?

When I click on the home page link it returns this url https://www.yawstick.com/press/?tag=press and says no posts found.

if you remove the ?tag=press your posts are there
