In reply to: Tool Bar Options Not FunctionalHi BrianDH,
You can try deactivating all plugins, one by one to see if any specific one contributes to the problem, Switch to the default 2014 theme and then Manually empty and refresh your browser cache.
You can also refer to the documentation regarding Javascript Errors

Have you checked your spam folder to make sure that they weren’t redirected there?
If they are not in your SPAM folder, what contact form/plugin are you using?

In reply to: Disabling comments on media pageHi RotoRob,
You can try using a plugin like this one:
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/disable-comments/Otherwise, you can also edit the commenting ability per individual page. Go to the page via wp-admin editor and on the bottom there should be an option to disable comments, right below the Visual Editor

In reply to: Facebook / Twitter comments troubleHi mynameisme2014,
If you are looking to use Facebook comments specifically, you can use a plugin like this one
However, if you are looking for a more comprehensive one that allows multiple logins, you may have to do searching on your own. I have found Disqus to be the most effective: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/disqus-comment-system/

In reply to: Sort pictures in galaryHi spencerwulwick,
Whatis your website? You can try renaming some of the images with 01_Name, 02_Name to see if the gallery will reorder them properly.
If that does not work you can try following the steps that jonfold used here

In reply to: What is the best way to backup my sites?Hi lylede,
You can most certainly use a plugin – something like
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/backupwordpress/works well, but you should also look into other plugins if you decide to use plugins for your backup.
You should also refer to WordPress’s documentation on backups

In reply to: Visual Editor disappeared after 3.9.2 updateHi Andrea,
If you’re exhausted those options, perhaps you can try re-installing wordpress from scratch? Also, did you update automatically or manually?
Be sure to backup your data before you do so though.

Hi Pearwcz,
Have your users checked their SPAM folders?
What hosting provider do you use? There seems to be an issue with some hosting prodivers like dreamhost and bluehost and Microsoft emails. The solution that users have found is to configure their SMTP in their webmail. You would need to contact your domain provider on how specifically to configure that

In reply to: White screen… successful instal does not appear.Hi dann87
The White Screen of Death can appear for multiple reasons:
https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Common_WordPress_ErrorsIf you have installed it multiple times, with each time failing, it may be because of a memory limit or the details in your wp-config are not correct. Are you sure those details are accurate?
