@jbennett360 thanks a lot! Looked into the free version one or two years ago but there wasn’t everything covered I needed and it would have been a big move. But now it would fit with a nice Pro Team LTD. I think I’ll do the move. If all works well, I can save at least 4 plugins per site and also some manual code snippets.
Tried updating on 45 WordPress websites from 2.2.4 to 2.2.5 – they ALL end up in running through the update process without any errors but still displaying 2.2.4 incl. message “1 update available” afterwards.
First Clearfy didn’t get updates for endless times, then it’s always security patches – if they work.
Doesn’t feel very secure lately…Sad but true, yes. No response for weeks or even months and that also in case of the latest series of security issues. @jbennett360 Did you already find a better supported and more secure solution?
@amirfallah Had the same problem with 14.9.3 still. Tested everything possible many times and I think I found the point. As I cleared the object cache everything worked again. Your plugin never before had problems with the object cache so maybe you can look after that.
Best regards@ulim was my concern, too, so thank you very much for discussing it out here ??
@amirfallah : What did you do? 14.9.1 sent updates again so I wanted to DISABLE them. But: WP Statistics DOESN’T save ANY changes anymore. Updated to 14.9.2 but SAME thing here – NO possibility to save changes. I get a successful message but then everything is resetted to previous state again.
We use your plugin on ALL our sites and they all rund perfectly… except for your plugin.- This reply was modified 7 months, 3 weeks ago by yellowfellow333.

In reply to: [APCu Manager] 3.8.3 always in error@charlyaes32 Oh, yes, I see, that was quite missunderstable… Sorry for that.
I meant the developer, not you. Such a fatal error should show with good testing before release…
Let’s hope it gets fixed soon as the plugin is really great when it works – which it does most of the time (only had 1 time in the past, where a version made problems and I had to deactivate it till the next update).

In reply to: [APCu Manager] 3.8.3 always in error+1
Websites down with fatal error. After renaming APCu Manager in plugin folder, everything runs flawless again. Did you test this one before release? ??@mohammedeisa What are you writing here?
Do you read the posts?
The problem has long be solved by @juergen74 in this reply: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/starts-creating-an-archive-but-then-gets-stuck/page/2/#post-17679832
So at least all Germans are fine since then ??
2 Replies further @juergen74 even made a suggestion how to fix that issue generally:
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/starts-creating-an-archive-but-then-gets-stuck/page/2/#post-17679886
So what else do you need to identify, @mohammedeisa ?@juergen74 Unbelievable, it runs like charm again!!
One single empty space KILLS a whole plugin. Wow, that mustn’t be.
But hey, when it was only the German version, why do we all write in English here???
????@juergen74 and a (German) translation can KILL an entire plugin?
That’s hard…@aipe As I wrote on page one, our WP 6.4.3 versions had/have the same issue. Didn’t test 6.4.4 yet because we backup before update – which doesn’t work when Duplicator doesn’t ??

@wpingo Well, then it’s good that PHP 7.4 is already in extra-paid extended support on hoster side – if there is still any support for it. As we only use supported versions of PHP (https://www.php.net/supported-versions.php), we only have 8.1 & 8.2 latest and Duplicator ran on those. If you’re right that would be a bug introduced with 1.5.8.1 then.
@mohammedeisa maybe you should consider implementing a build in plugin rollback system as Duplicator is a critical one. E.g. Elementor has that which could be a life saver if an update would be buggy…
But as a quick’n’dirty workaround: why don’t you release a 1.5.8.0 rollback as 1.5.8.2 update as long as you’re still searching for the problem? There are endless sites out there that can’t be backed up right now…@heneart this question was for the Duplicator team as we normally always backup our installs before and after updates and had no problems with 1.5.8.1 till now…
