For issue no 2, I have managed to increase the spacing. Thanks for the snippet.

For issue no 1, the Google support guys informed me there is a minor spacing between the magnifying glass icon and the text bar. According to them, that is causing the elements to overlap in a way and eventually caused the issue in Google Search Console of ‘clickable elements too close’. Please find below the link for their report.
