I’ve been noodling around with this all day and managed to hide the items table via css (display: none;)

I imagine there is a better way to remove the items table via a webhook, so if anyone has any experience with the same issue, please let me know.
Also I am wondering how come the download table is not shown on the “Order on hold” email, but shown in the “Completed order” email ? The php code for the two emails look very similar, so where is this happening ?

I realised that I was making it more complicated than needed be !

Instead of trying to extract the email address from the email client, I can get it from the cf7 form and send it in the email. Much easier !

So the included link looks something like this:
https://example.com/contact/?your-email=%5Byour-email%5D
