Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Endless problemsYes, been using the Classic Editor plugin since then, but it won’t work in most of my WP installs… text window OK, but as soon as you switch to the visual editor everything disappears… blank screen. This is happening on multiple sites. have tested with WP default themes, various other themes, old sites with all plugins disabled, and even today brand new site without a single plugin.
The theme library I was referring to was the listing that used to come from WP.org when you’d go to Add New Theme… nothing ever loads. The wheel spindsas but nothing ever happens.
Just like the what seems to be happemning more and more in the customizer… try to save even the most basic changes and it won’t save. Can leave it for an hour and try to move on you get the message changes will be lost.
That’s the one that’s making this unworkable for me… I’ve been working around all the other issues, but lately I can’t even make basic changes in the customiser, so ready to give up.
Starting to wonder if it might be some issue on my local machine because it’s starting to impact sites I’ve operated for years?

In reply to: [MailPoet Newsletters (Previous)] Manage Subscription pageHi Ouze, wondering if you can share how/where you published the actual link?
I’ve tried using php enabled sidebar widgets but no luck. Same for php shortcodes…
Any direction, much appreciated!
Hi Nico,
It was never about the money. Probably 80%+ of the plugins I use on my sites are paid. And if I’d known that change was coming I would have happily paid for an upgrade when I first added it… so I could just install it, publish my videos and forget about it.
I guess what got me a bit annoyed that day was the fact that I’d used this plugin on a lot of different pages on a lot of different sites for a couple of years and I suddenly found out none of them were working…
I’d used it extensively in good faith, then once I was invested, it’s basic function changed … and now I have to go back and redo the work.
So whether a downgrade on all the sites will fix it, or I actually have to change the shortcodes on each and every video… even if I use a search and replace… it’s still a major pain, and one I think probably shouldn’t have happened.
As it is I apologise for the 1 rating… that was pure frustration (and I can’t see any way to change it?) … but I do think, if you give something away for free you shouldn’t do take-backs later on.
Regards
Matt

In reply to: IMSC Rapid Mail IssuesSame problem here. Big problem is, the plugin developers aren’t answering support tickets… 8 days and counting. If anyone is heavily reliant on their email list / autoresponder, don’t wait for a response and switch to an alternate until they sort their plugin out.
I did find talk of an upcoming JVZoo integration on the old S2Member support forum, but that was a couple of years old and no further mention of it after that.
Also lots of people asking for help with this, but most of the threads closed with no response… seems JVZ want S2M to work it out, and S2M want JVZ to work it out.
I did find a course on Udemy promising to show you how to do it so now I’m tossing up whether to spend money on that, or put it towards a different JVZoo compatible membership plugin?
With regards your second question… easy enough to make different payment buttons in S2M, but a bit more problematic making affiliate landing pages and getting your prospects to the right order button…
Probably easiest to set up one site with one option, then use ‘wp duplicator’ to create a copy and change the buttons, then repeat for the next option. A bit of a pain if you need to update anything, but keeps your affiliates happy.
I’ve been looking for the same thing… for a while.
Seems a lot of people were looking for help with JVZoo on the old forum and never got it, though I did find mention of a JVZoo integration in the works? Was that correct?
Hard to know what’s here in this forum as you don’t seem to be able to search!

In reply to: [Post via Dropbox] PHP Parse Error? Thanks for that … I was running php 5.3.0 but the wp install was on a windows server, so I think it was probably some sort of permissions issue. (Happens quite a bit on wp/windows)
I was looking for a way to transfer posts from a blog on a different platform to a new wp blog, (export/import wasn’t happening) so in the end I found another way to do it. Thanks
