My sites auto-update to the latest version of WordPress whenever they are released.
I have not made any major changes to the website as such.
I have 6 WordPress websites on Cloudways. All of them started showing the same issue a few weeks back.
Could be related to the latest minor update from WordPress.

Thanks for the tip. The issue is resolved but this is something new. A few weeks back clicking on any image in the gallery used to give the option to add more images. The present option is complicated and unnecessary.

I got the issue now.
When the top toolbar is enabled in the editor, I do not see the option of Select Gallery.

I disabled the Top Toolbar and now I am getting the option as in the screen recording.

Space is not an issue as such (for time being) but if all the images are going to be served in WebP only to all my users then the original jpeg is just a wastage of storage.

Any way to replace the uploaded jpeg with WebP,replace the jpeg with WebP and use only the WebP version on all posts irrespective of the browser?
My logic was why to waste storage on the server if almost all browsers now support WebP. So wanted WEbP by default no matter what.

I have excluded logo from lazyload but still it is causing the issue.

This plugin seems to have removed the unwanted thumbnail sizes completely now.

Thank you but I wanted to find out the exact place from which code these thumbnails are generated so that I can just delete the code and get rid of the unnecessary files.
The plugins are not helping much.

I have already done that but I am not finding any plugin which creates a WebP version and deletes the jpeg files.

@sterndata Option of “Regenerate Thumbnails” in Media Library is giving error “ERROR: Unable to load the metadata for this attachment.”
Any other way?

In the site health I am getting
“Foodpath is not connected.: 200”
