Have just tried to upload wordpress- stats – by w3 counter (plugin) too and though its showing in filezilla in the plugin list – this too is not showing in the dashboard.

its in content/plugins of my website.

is there a stats plugin I can use that will show my stats on my blog which is self hosted through worpdress.org – instead of having to login into wordpress.com every time?

The actual problem that I am having is that I cant see my blog stats in my blog dashboard, which is self hosted through worpdress.org.

I have to login into my wordpress.com account – which has a different password.

I would like to see my blog stats on my blog dashboard – https://www.bestbodytalk.com.

I don’t think I’m being that stupid.

the only problem now I’ve done that is that I can only see my blog stats in wordpress.com.

I would like to be able to see my blog stats for my blog – bestbodytalk.com – in www.ads-software.com – where my blog lives.

I just tried deactivating stats and then reactivating it; I entered the API key but then it went to this message;

“The API key “e19414b67698.” belongs to the WordPress.com account of “joannacollie”. If this is not your account, please re-enter your API key.

(it is my wordpress.com account so I didn’t re-enter my API key – however the blog that I am using and referring to is on www.ads-software.com)

According to the WordPress.com database, this API key is already associated with at least one self-hosted blog. You can add this as a new blog on your WordPress.com account or replace an existing blog and inherit its stats history.

Add new blog to my account
Do this if this blog is new or has never been associated with your API key. This blog will be added to your WordPress.com account.”

I’m not sure what to do now – as I said before that I was using the API key before fine and blog stats was working fine.

Any more help would be much appreciated,

yes I did. It has worked for other plugins – just not these 3 ??

I’m using optimism theme and yes – all the other buttons work fine.

I mean the’add/edit link’ button when I’m writing a post (in the visual editor). Its sort of blanked out so that I can’t click on it.

I’ve not tried the html thing but I will, but I would like the ‘addlink’ button on the visual editor to work as its easier.

I don’t actually have any activated plugins though and I only just installed WordPress from Justhost so I’m assuming that it is the latest version,

anything else that might be causing it?
