In reply to: [TwentyTwenty] How to use in template file? Also, how do I get the vertical orientation to work via the shortcode? I’ve tried adding
orientation='vertical'
data-orientation='vertical'
I’ve tried both variations with double quotes…grrrr

In reply to: Not pulling the correct page. Not sure why…This isn’t a theme issue. This is a customization issue. I’m simply trying to find out what about the code I’ve written is not pulling the info I think I’m asking for. I included the original theme code in order to see if there was something about THAT that could help here. Not because I’m trying to make that code work.

In reply to: Not pulling the correct page. Not sure why…But really, since I’m looking to change the code for the page completely, this is not something the developer *should* help with. What I’m trying to figure out is why the code I’ve written isn’t calling the page I’m trying to reference there.

In reply to: Not pulling the correct page. Not sure why…The theme was purchased on Themeforest and the developer is not providing support.

In reply to: Registration and lost password emails aren't being sentIt happens with MY email! Which is always from the same provider. I don’t know about my other users. For all but one of my sites, I’m the only user. But I will ask if there’s been more than 1 user from that other site that’s had any issues not receiving the lost password emails and such.

In reply to: Registration and lost password emails aren't being sentWell, I’ve tried with my own email address, which I know is correct in the system. I honestly have not tried turning off many plugins to test in that regard – mainly because the sites that I’m finding this issue don’t really have identifiable common plugins that might be doing this.

In reply to: Remove div element from only pages associated with BuddyPress?Ahhhh…thank you SO much! That definitely fixed it! I just used the buddypress part of that body tag and it took it out for all those pages.

In reply to: Remove div element from only pages associated with BuddyPress?Happy to provide the link. I just didn’t know if there might be something obvious with the format of the css or something:
Specifically on this page (which seems to be the only one accessible without having an account – and membership for this site is very restricted): https://www.fiercebackbone.com/join I’m trying to remove the box where the post date appears (next to the “Create Account” header). The page id for this particular page is 1951 (the page id in my original message is for the members page).
Thanks in advance.

THANK you so much! This worked like a charm!

In reply to: [Sharexy - Powerful Social Sharing Buttons] Error after installationYeah, I just installed this plugin and had the same error, and added the coe to my .htaccess file. Same error remains. Will this be getting fixed? Or should I move on to the next social sharing plugin to try?
I do not have JetPack installed, and have not tried to install the beta yet. I actually suspect that this issue is theme-related, but I can’t get the theme maker to respond, so I’m hoping I can get help here. This particular theme has a slideshow built in to the site. But I’ve not had much luck figuring out how/where. I am fine with disabling this built-in slideshow since I would prefer to be using NextGen anyhow.
When I disable the theme using Twenty Twelve, the gallery will appear, though it takes a few seconds to actually display. And I have tried disabling my few plugins one-by-one (the built-in slideshow is not set up as a plugin). None of them seem to be the problem.
Very frustrated. Wondering if there’s simply a javascript conflict somewhere. As in, perhaps if I update a particular javascript file in the theme, that might solve this? I’m really just thinking out loud here and have no idea if that’s realistic. JS is not my forte.
This is the development site and page where I’ve tried to insert a gallery. You’ll see the built-in slideshow on the homepage.

In reply to: Homepage sliders no longer working upon upgrade to 3.5Hmmmm…
Ok. Forgive me, but I’m a little bit lost. JS isn’t a strong-suit of mine. Based on what you say, I’m guessing that one of the js files from the Nivo slider plugin is the culprit. But there doesn’t seem to be one just called jQuery, so I’m not sure what to disable, or what I should call instead.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Homepage sliders no longer working upon upgrade to 3.5If a link to the site is necessary, here it is: icesportswear.com, but since the slider widget isn’t working and I have just a single image placeholder there right now, I’m not sure it’s going to be terribly helpful.

Am I the only person having trouble with this?
