Emptying the “Class” field fixed the problem, I probably added a symbol that didn’t sit well on that field.

Thanks for the quick reply and update, unfortunately I’ve been trying it, with different field types and none of them worked, the value of the field it’s still not showing in the Description field.

Same goes for showing the Category instead of the Post title, maybe I need to set custom field for the Title field?

The thing is, now I get this message: [contact-form-7 404 “Not Found”]
Probably because I am also using this plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/email-before-download/
And the shortcode ends up being different from what you suggested.
Something like this:
[email-download download_id=”00″ contact_form_id=”1234″]
And with this situation html_class doesn’t work. Sorry I didn’t specified this before.

What I need is to have a contact form, and when the user submits it: the form hides and it shows the sent-ok message and a link to download a pdf file (now using Download Monitor plugin for this feature).
So, if you know another workaround in which I can only use Contact Form 7 to do this. I would be glad to try it!
