Hi @barsha05 ,
I have just installed the newly released version of NextGEN Gallery 3.59.6, but it doesn’t seem to fix the problem.
Can you please confirm if the fix was supposed to be included in this version.
We are really hurting while this problem persists, so your early response will be greatly appreciated.
We are experiencing the same problem – the HTML tags included in our image descriptions are now completely ignored!
This is a major issue for us, since we have over 1,500 images, all of them with links (in the description) to the relevant posts.
Can you please let us know when we can expect a fix, or if there is an option to re-install the previously functioning version of NextGen.Many thanks,
Yuval.

Suggest you try using another browser (eg: Edge) if only to confirm it’s a browser related issue, which was the case in my experience.
Hi @squirrelbum,
My problem with metadata screens was resolved by removing one of my Chrome Extensions, (which I think was something to do with malware protection, but I can’t recall the exact name…).
Anyhow, it was a configuration issue on my Chrome browser.
Try disabling all your extensions…
Hope this is helpful.Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [SiteGround Migrator] Migrator Tool, a bit of waste of timeHi @elenachavdarova,
Thanks for your response.NextGen plugin for example, is a very popular & stable plugin that installs into wp-content/plugins folder, but also creates an image library under wp-content/gallery folder. This is its default behaviour. You should really be looking at all subdirectories under wp-content folder.
In any case, these limitations should be explicitly explained before sending users on a “goose chase” :-)… save the user time and disappointment, save you the support effort.
Otherwise, I’m very happy with SG as my new host ??
Best regards,
Yuval.Hi @mihaiimagely,
Thanks for your response.
In this case, we might need to use the “Simple Lightbox” instead of “Shutter Reloaded”.Would you be able to provide all the CSS customisation options for “Simple Lightbox” – we would like to change things like font size and colour, and the placement of the Description text box to be under the image, not overlapping it.
Many thanks.
Hi @gabyimagely
I have produced the two text files of Site Health data for the Live and Beta sites. It looks to me there’s no substantial difference that might indicate whats going on… I wanted to share with you, but can’t see an option to “Attach” files here…
Regarding your suggestion to remove and re-insert the gallery display – I can’t see how this is relevant to my problem. Regardless of the Posts and Pages where this gallery is inserted, the issue is with the back-end management of the thumbnail size, regardless of where this gallery is published. Or am I missing anything?
Please let me know what you think, before I take the drastic option of deleting NextGen and then re-installing the plug-in (which will be a major disruption for our site…).
Thanks again for helping us out.
Hi @gabyimagely ,
I have submitted the following feature request:
“Right-to-Left (RTL) Language Support for loading thumbnail galleries. When implementing NextGen in RTL language web sites, such as Hebrew and Arabic, there is a need to load the thumbnail images in Right-to-Left column order, rather than the standard Left-to-Right.”
I hope it gets your attention…
Many thanks,
Yuval.Hi @gabyimagely
Thanks for your response, but I still can’t get it to work.
I’ve switched off the Cache plug-in (W3 Total Cache), but it doesn’t seem to fix the problem.
Just to make clear – I have two sites: one live site (https://matzpen.org) and a test site (https://beta.matzpen.org). Both of them are identical in terms of the Theme (Avada 5.9.1) and all plug-in’s. I made sure all (WP/Theme/Plug-ins) are on the same version.
In the test site there’s no problem and I can re-generate the thumbnails as expected. On the live site it doesn’t work. So, I don’t think it can be anything to do with incompatible Theme or plug-in’s…
Any other thing I can check?
Do you think I might need to re-install NextGen?
If I remove NextGen and then re-install it, would I loose any of the images or their title/descriptions? Would I loose any of the settings of NextGen, like the Custom CSS and other settings?Appreciate your help,
Many thanks,
Yuval.Hi Mihai,
Thanks for the info.
Re mobile usability, one issue is with the “Full Size” control which get with Shutter_Reloaded (the green arrow pointing downwards) – the full size image is displayed but you can’t pan to see various parts of the image… It’s actually the same behavior as the desktop but on mobiles users expect to use the touch screen to view-pan…
Hi @mihaiimagely
One more question – does NGG provides any Mobile support, in terms of the way Shutter_Reloaded appears? Many thanks.
Hi @mihaiimagely
Thanks, works well ??Which other .ngg objects I can modify in this why?
Is there somewhere in your documentation a list of all such objects? Many thanks!
Which CSS file do I have to edit? which file location?
Thanks!

4. Replace it like this “https://rabiaaydogan.com/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/lightbox/static/shutter_reloaded/images/”Should read:
