I am having a similar issue. Wverything works when it is setup in the initial insecure manner, but as soon as I add the code to wp-config it stops working. Our website is hosted with hostgator but I’m guessing the issue is on the plugin side since it does work in the first method…

Same issue. Anyone else figure it out?

Nevermind for now. I went to disable the CF7 extension plugins one by one but the form worked again after I disabled the first one which was “CF7 Smart Grid Design Extension”. I will post again if the error returns. Thank you for the swift response.
