@Emanweb- Thanks for writing back. I looked at your site on my computer and on a mobile device. I get the modal, but it doesn’t have a close button, just the two age choices. Is there another page on the site I should look for?

@claudio: when will the next version be available?

@emanweb: Would you be willing to share the code for the close button inside the content you used? Even if mobile users couldn’t scroll on the modal, it might at least allow them to close the window.

It instantly changes in a new browser. It takes the 10 minutes even with the hard refresh in the same browser.

Thank you so much for writing back. Your response does make sense. What I would really like would be for something like the way Pinterest “no pin” code works, where I could put code in specific posts so they would not show up in related articles, but they’d still see the related articles. Is there any way to do something like that?

Is it possible that the wordpress application caches the poll, because the changes are reflected in the admin tool, but not on the front of the website. Is there something I could clear to make it work?

I’ve been editing the hover-pin-it.php and in the admin tool, I now can see Caption as an option. I thought I had the value wrong, so I’ve tried “caption” and “wp-caption” but I’m still not able to get this to work. If someone can tell me the right value and which, if any, of the other files I need to edit, I’d appreciate it.

I want the caption because it includes the copyright information for the image, and the alt text does not. Since there are multiple images on a page, I don’t want to use the page title either.

I am trying to edit the plugin code. I realize that any updates made by the developer will overwrite what I’ve done if I do an update. I just want to see if it’s possible to actually make the caption the caption of the photo, and to do that, I’m trying to figure out what Esquire theme calls the caption in code.

I did post there and I contacted the developer. I was hoping someone more familiar with Esquire might be able to direct me on what the comments code is so that I can edit the plugin myself since I’m stuck.
