I have the Akismet plugin installed and activated the check box checked in the easy sign up settings.

I came up with a temporary fix for this that does not look perfect but I think its better the the blown up header image.

What I did was I took the entire carousel div and I put it inside the div class container. So this still gives us a responsive slider without any distortion of the image. It just left me with a lot of white space on the sides which is not ideal.

This is something that bothers me too… the slider taking up all 27 inches of my monitor when my browser is on full screen. (half screen the theme looks awesome)

I tried playing around with the code but couldn’t figure it out.

Can you provide us with some code that might temporarily resolve this until the update? When do you think this slider height option update will be available?
