I understand you would like certain products to still show first before the alphabetical sorting starts.

Currently, that is not something that our plugin has any options for. It is purely adding sorting options so there is no option to select a product to be excluded or “sticky” to the top of the page.

Our plugin adds in additional sorting options while retaining the Alphabetical sorting of WooCommerce. You can also disable core sorting options. The plugin currently does not allow for custom sorting options of your own making to be added however.

I understand you are seeing issues when trying to sort alphabetically. I assume by this you are using ‘Sort by Name: A – Z’ and ‘Sort by Name: Z – A’.

I tested these on my own demo site and did not encounter any issue with sorting. Would you be able to send a screenshot of what you are seeing or a link to the site so I can review the shop page directly?

Thank you for confirming there are no caching plugins and that you are publishing changes! I attempted to duplicate this error on a test site, but it behaved correctly. To be sure, if you want to remove a default option, you actually need to select it. Please see my screenshot: https://cloud.skyver.ge/d5uJR5mx

I understand that you unselected some sorting options, but they were still showing up. Did you make sure to update the changes to the site after removing the sorting options? Also, do you have any sort of caching or optimization plugins enabled on the site?

Hey there @przemyslawcioch, Zach here. So if I understand correctly. the sorting works on the shop page, but when in categories the sorting by availability does not take effect. Is that correct?

Thank you for reaching out about our plugin, Product SKU Generator! I’m happy to assist you with this. ??

Our plugin actually does not have a built-in way to handle generating a SKU with a prefix. That said, we do document our code should you wish to modify it for your purposes. I would? recommend starting with the ‘wc_sku_generator_sku filter‘. This passes the parent SKU as the value and the product as a variable.
