When I was testing it out before (with the non-blog portions of the site), I didn’t have to add it to favorites in order for the ico to appear (in IE7).

Wonder why it would do that?

I didn’t realize blank lines AFTER all the php statements would cause any problems, but it did have 3 lines of nothing at the end of the file.

I haven’t added any lately… but I did disable them and found out which one was causing it…

What do I need to edit to fix this? Do I have to ditch Optimal Title? I really like how it sticks the post name in front, rather than getting the breadcrum path to it.

I actually found it right after posting.

I thought I didn’t see that Release-Archive section before, I guess I’m not going crazy after all.

So, yes. I realize it goes into blog.

I have one .htaccess kept in my root folder is the only other one I have tried doing anything with.
All it is used for is error docs (which are getting hit frequently as a result of this permalink problem).

BUMP

My host is nobody you will have heard of, just an individual who owns a few servers in OR on optical connections.

I can email and ask if they have mod_rewrite and AllowOverride on, but I have never had problems with this before… Before I did a re-vamp of the blog it worked fine. I wouldn’t suppose trying to change the permalink options and such within the Dashboard would cause this much trouble, I have tried all the permalink options and none of them work.

Bump… Still no idea why this is happening.

I am running PHP Version 4.3.11 already…

I realize that… I was just saying I went to the extreeme measures to make sure that it was writable, yet it still did not work.
