I’m have this same exact issue, and don’t see a resolution on here.

It looks like it’s been a month. Does the creator not monitor queries here?

MichaelH, that’s a great tool, but it doesn’t allow for the display of the complete post, just a list.

I too want the five most recent complete posts from a specific category to be display below an introduction. This thing is aweseome, except the posts all show up above my other content on the page.

    Nope. That’s not the problem.

Both my sites have the “<?php wp_footer(); ?>” in their page.php files.

Again, one of the sites was working right up until today. It’s still displaying yesterdays date, and nothing is updating.

Prior to today it was getting stats just fine. No major updates, no new plugins.

Yeah, I have two site using this service, and neither of them are updating, but I know that my site is seeing traffic because I’m getting replies to my posts through WP.

I think there’s something going on with this plugin right now.

    NEVER MIND.

FYI: For all those using this plugin: If you use the “Save Password” feature in Google Chrome on one WP blog using this plugin, then go on to login to another site using the plugin, Chrome retains the login creds from the original.

The dashboard was logged into my wife’s WP blog stats page from my wp blog’s dashboard. There by causing the problem shown above with it telling me I wasn’t a validated user.

The convenience of the “remember me” button can sometimes bite you in the A55.

Thanks ghaib. You steered me in the right direction.

I actually ended up changing the page.php (as the site I’m managing will not be using tradition posts but static pages maintained using the WP backend.)

The line I removed was the following from this theme’s page.php:

    <span class="date"><?php the_modified_time(__('F jS, Y', 'inove')); ?></span>

Removing this line eliminates the report at the top of the page that provides a date of page creation. I also deactivated comments on all pages and removed the comments not allowed message.

This effectively turned this theme with WP into a very clean and presentable CMS with static web pages managed using the WP backend engine. Brilliant stuff!

Thanks for your help! Another success story for the WP community.
