Hello – it actually stopped working before I changed the password. It looks as though it is trying to push through. Unfortunately I didn’t think to copy the diagnostics from the other session by the user who initially had the problems pushing through the post!

Thanks for getting back to me. I can’t get access to my account – I have a license. I’ve sent two messages (yesterday and two weeks ago) using the contact form on the Modern Tribe website giving my licence and order details and no-one has replied to me. What WordPress login am I supposed to be using for it? I’m totally willing to show what the error looks like, and reactivate both the pro and regular plugin but right now I can’t get onto the forum (hence using this…)

So if I turn off ‘Use Post Thumbnail Only’ will the post image come up on FB?

I’m not totally sure what you mean – I’ve added the category to the settings for the importer – and then pasted in the shortcode generated to the bottom of the page I want the feed to appear on.

Where can I get the feed URL? Sorry, as I said, I’m pretty non-tech!

Thanks for your message – much appreciated. I’ve actually changed the plugin now because the client was worried about it showing past events first but am keen to buy yours again (we had the premium version). This is the current site ( https://www.citizensuk.org/events2/) – with the Events Manager plugin.

I tried to install the free version of your Calendar after taking out the premium version but for some reason it now clashes with the slider on the front page? When I installed the free version, the image on the slider ‘disappears’.

I’d like to go back to the premium version. If I pay and reinstall it, will it be okay with the slider? Is it possible to be talked through the set-up of it?

Thanks for getting back so quickly, it’s much appreciated. Should I have both page.php and single-event.php in the same theme folder then? I did this and got an internal server error. I’ve deleted single-event.php and restored it back to normal.

What else can I do to get rid of the widget (if I’ve done the above correctly)?

I mean delete the parent theme and upload it again to the wp-content folder?

I’m working remotely and I’m not sure that the server gives access to the FTP, unfortunately. But when I get a chance to work with the wordpress files directly, would it be a good idea to delete the existing Responsive child theme and reupload it again? Would that mean my child theme, would stay in place?

Thanks so much for your help – I took your advice and re-uploaded the pictures making sure they are sized to the slider and it seems to work.

The client is very confused as to what size they want it so I will just have to mess around with it which is why I have the two differently sized slides in it.

I tried – I’m reset the slider size to 947 x 288 which is the exact dimension of these two (identical) pictures and I did that before uploading them. It still doesn’t work…I’m wondering if I’ve done anything to cut off the slider? When I first used it, in development, the image was cropped as soon as it was uploaded to the slider (I’m pretty sure).
