Oh I may have answered my own question here. But in case it helps anyone else. Following this thread I changed the referrer policy in W3 total cache to “strict-origin-when-cross-origin”. I am not certain if that it the correct policy to choose but it seems to have solved the problem.

Just an update but I tried a different caching plugin “WP Fastest Cache” and followed the instructions in the FAQ. I got the same result again as I do with W3 Total cache. On initial page load the scripts are blocked but on refresh they are not. I am not sure if it helps but when the scripts load I see this in the console of Firefox:

“Referrer Policy: Ignoring the less restricted referrer policy “no-referrer-when-downgrade” for the cross-site request:”

Hi yes I tried clearing it. But once it caches the page again the problem comes back.

Thank you that could work. Sorry another question, with that in mind is it possible to make it so when the user presses accept another section other than necessary is also enabled?

Basically we had reCaptcha set in necessary but it sets a cookie on page load. We don’t want any cookies set until the user has clicked accept. So if we move reCaptcha to experience for example that would work but our forms wouldn’t submit unless they accept all cookies or go to manage settings and enable experience.

Thank you that was a speedy reply! However running your exact code I still get the error “Metabox configuration is required to have an ID parameter.”

The shortcode I am using is [cmb-form id=”user_profile_image_file_list”] and CMB2 version 2.6.0 . Any ideas?

Just to update I have found the setting in IV section D – album and covers related settings. Setting placement to left shifts the thumbnails but not if you are using image factory cover type which I am. Is this a bug?

Actually, forget my last post. I just realised I was a retard and copied the index file and not the page file into the new page template.
