In reply to: [Daily Prayer Time] Limit on number of rows on csv fileThat would be useful In Sha Allah. Thanks.
In theory you could allow a full years worth of data. Then perhaps allow a button in the Admin area that says “Copy from Jan 2019 to Jan 2020” to duplicate the data from the existing uploaded data. Then you could allow the current editing features in the Admin area to change individual days where needed. (I am thinking for most masjids the times will mostly be the same each year with maybe some changes for “Day Light Saving” (GMT/BST in UK) time and some Jamaat times with Ramadan moving forwards.)
This could potentially reduce the need to upload a new CSV file each year / month, as it is the upload process that seems to cause problems some times. Though I hope you would retain the option to upload a full year CSV file as thats easier !
Thanks attaqwa for your suggestion will have a look at that plugin.

In reply to: [Daily Prayer Time] Display time in 24 formatJust had a check and there doesn’t seem to be an option or switch to display times in 24 hour format. A surprising omission as the data in the uploaded CSV is required to be in 24 hour format !
So in theory it should be easy to as even no conversion process is required.

In reply to: [Daily Prayer Time] Limit on number of rows on csv fileSalaam
I have just uploaded times for 2019 in CSV format without issue, but the file only contained data (for the whole of) 2019. I already had data for 2018 including the last days for December, uploaded from last year. (One thing I used to forget was to remove the line for Feb 29 for non-leap years as the plugin checks and complains if that is included).
In the first column in the CSV file is the date, what I have done is done a “Find and Replace” on the CSV file using Notepad to change 2018- to 2019- (the extra dash is just to ensure ONLY the year is changed just in case that “2018” occurred in the times). Saved the file ensuring the CSV extension remains and uploaded that.
You could upload a 2018 csv file then 2019 csv file rather than put more then a years data in one file. In theory I think you could upload several years worth of data as long as the correct year was included in the first column. I don’t think the the plugin would stop you doing that. Though of course you may want to adjust times for each year to cater for the different dates for clocks going forward/backward and any changed Jamaat times for Ramadan.
One feature that could be useful is a “Preview” feature in the Admin area, for future months that have been uploaded. Though the plugin indicates succesful upload there doesn’t seem to be an easy way to check the data after upload for mistakes in future months, apar from waiting until that date !

In reply to: [Daily Prayer Time] Installation problems – path problems with require_onceWasalam Dear Brother,
Thank you for your kind words and getting back to us so quickly at a time when you maybe busy.
I wasn’t initially sure how to determine the version of PHP and posted the above info from Cpanel PHPAdmin section but suspected I might have misunderstood. So eventually worked out I had use phpinfo() function in a file to get details from the server. This showed PHP version as 5.2.17 older than I thought. I think 5.3 is required for (__DIR__) in the require_once functions and maybe even newer for the lcfirst() function, hence the reason I was getting errors !!
No doubt there will be other newer things incompatible with the older PHP engine so I have spoken to the hosting site who will move us to a server with newer user selectable versions of PHP, which will take a few days. So at the moment I will wait for this move and I’m fairly confident that your plugin will work as intended.
Is there a particular minimum version of PHP that is required for the Daily Prayer Times plugin ? In general am I best going to the latest version of PHP or could that introduce other problems ? Also would it be OK to go to latest version of WordPress 4.7 for this plugin ?
Incidentally I did turn on debugging and had a quick scan in the debug and error log files, several errors shown but probably following complaints relevant to the pop up text box on that page. Firstly
Underfined variable css
andPHP Fatal error: Class 'MonthlyTimeTable' not found
. I’m pretty sure these would get resolved once the paths issue gets resolved properly. I’m guessing in the latest version of the plugin new things were introduced for the Monthly Time Tables functionality, or maybe just lucky it worked before !(At least this is starting to be a good learning exercise in how things are put together !!)
I may be back if I have more problems but in the meantime thank you for all your help may Allah swt reward you for all your efforts, and keep yourself and the family in good health.
Thanks
