Deactivating the plugins I use, then reactivating them with Jetpack running – well I couldn’t find any problems today. I have no idea why it wasn’t working Saturday but the problem seems resolved today.

The update did not fix the problem for me. When editing a recent post it wouldn’t even save my changes until I deactivated Jetpack.

Update: Reader is picking up a random post now and then. I can get no response from Google support. A lot of other people are complaining about the same problem. I suppose the answer is to use a different rss reader.

It does not appear to be the plugins or the theme. Also, I have another blog and Google Reader is picking that up just fine. I have the same plugins on both and used Sandbox on both to design my themes. I can’t find any settings that I have done differently between the two either.

I tried, by the way, deleting and resubscribing to my blog which didn’t work either.

Thank you for the suggestions. The feed checks out as valid. I will check the theme and plugins and see if those are at fault.

Sairah and ousep – thank you. I will explore these hosts and see which bests meets my needs – I still have a little time to decide. I am happy to keep taking recommendations, too!

Thanks for the possible workarounds. I’d pretty much given up on getting the rss feed to work but I will try your ideas.

In wordpress, I find plain old html center tags work on images better than style alignment tags.

In my experience, IE, FF, Chrome, etc., still render pixels slightly differently. It’s been a mild frustration for me as an amateur designer. My pages always render slightly differently in different browsers.

I’ve played around with this a little more. I tried the KB advanced rss widget and it has the same issue, the feed stops as of when I updated the blog to 2.7. This leads me to believe it’s in the source of the rss feed – also a blog of mine.

I know the feed is showing up fine in google reader but I don’t know enough about rss to guess why it won’t show new posts in the widget. Any ideas?

Oops. Didn’t mean to abandon my question!

I mean a readable archive – a .doc or a .txt file, or a file capable of being converted into such a file.

At least I’m not the only one. I’ve found that comment notification breaks/is resolved about every other update.
