In reply to: run wp-cron.php in a timebased wayWPCron locks itself, and keep track of its progress, so no, 2 crons will never do the same task once. But both crons can run at same time.
Okay, thanks.
Let’s hope this is fixed! ?? Because I know a lot of people use the plugin (It’s a awesome plugin btw), so high security is important IMO
Hi Robert,
I removed the example, sorry
Best regards,
Lucas RWhere can I check the version if I don’t have admin access (only shell), what I see in the readme.txt is:

In reply to: run wp-cron.php in a timebased wayI’m a hosting provider myself – I know I can easily disable the cron, via wp-config.php – and then set up a manual cron job in the clients control panel.
But I think generally this should be avoided, not because it doesn’t work – but more because, yes we can fix a lot of problems, by doing this. But it’s not really ‘fixing’ the problem, its just avoiding the problem.
If the WP-devs actually did care, they would surely make some more logic behind it, to make sure it only get run x amount of minutes at least. Instead of just saying “You can disable it like this”.
I hope some devs see this topic, and will look into it, because it suck if you need to do it for a lot of sites ??

In reply to: Upload 'media library' directly to remote server.W3TC is not an option, neither is pure FTP

In reply to: Upload 'media library' directly to remote server.Exactly, It’s just like a CDN. Sending the files to the fileserver which is sync’ed with a CDN

In reply to: Upload 'media library' directly to remote server. My goal is..
Lets say we have webserver1, and storageserver1, I upload a image via wordpress on webserver1, but it should be uploaded to storageserver1.
This will be used, for making the files for different site, be stored on same fileserver, that is optimized for delivering static content, instead of dynamic.

In reply to: api.www.ads-software.com very slowJuliaturiu,
The problem is, clearing the cache doesn’t solve the problem, I’m even running without caching in my browsers (because of development), so I have it disabled generally.
I would like to know, if wordpress could solve this, with pushing it to a CDN network or something, because it gives really bad ‘user-experience’ that I have to wait so long time, when browsing the admin panel.
