In reply to: [GeneratePress] Getting “changeset_post_save_failure” errorWhThank you Tom. I have since found another issues, so it probably has nothing to do with going back to free, from pro. Your theme has served me well, I can’t see using any other. I’m going to pursue the table error suggestion from David and see where that goes. Thanks to both of you.

In reply to: [GeneratePress] Getting “changeset_post_save_failure” errorWhThank you for the quick reply. I checked site health before I asked for help, nothing there. I don’t have any problem updating posts or with core wordpress options. I was wondering if this generatepress option was left over from the pro version, and since that subscription expired, it now can’t be unselected. Thank you.
Thank you for your effort and detailed response.
You wrote “I would rather have someone be irritated by the BPS message and figure out the caching plugin problem.”
The issue with this approach, if the BPS message remains as written, is that many (most?) plugin users are novices like me and may assume that the problem is with BPS, delete it and give it a 1 star review.
WPSC has a simple option that does not involve the htaccess file. It also warns that the other options may require manually changing files that could bring down their site if not done correctly. Perhaps a BPS message that says if they use the WPSC simple method, then just dismiss the BPS message. But if they use the other methods, they need to follow the instructions on the plugin’s wordpress page to add the required code to the htaccess file using the correct custom code box.
You can mark this as resolved if you wish, I’m just using the simple code for now.
Thank you for the support.Thank you for the response. I was hoping I could get the wizard to work as intended, it would just be easier than manually entering code with each change. However, maybe I am at fault, forgetting to unlock, decrypt the htacess file before running the wizard? Maybe the wizard could learn to unlock and decrypt, add the necessary code from other plugins and then lock up after it’s done. You can mark this resolved unless you have more to add. BPS is the best security plugin I’ve used, so I’m keeping it. Thanks again for the quick response.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Un-minified css & js files + minified files both servedHello Marko,
Adding the files to the Rejected files box as you suggested did the trick. Thank you for the quick response and help. I’m going to review the plugin, something I should have done long ago. Thanks again.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Un-minified css & js files + minified files both servedHello Marko,
Thank you for the extremely quick response. I saw from one of the previous similar support requests that purging was suggested. I did that before, but did it again multiple times (W3, CDN, Perma-cache) then I even disabled Perma-cache. Still no change, 6 css and js files plus another 6 minified versions of those same files.
Would removing css and js from one or both “file types to upload” lines help because both pre and post minification files are being sent to the CDN, so it’s serving both because it can’t tell the difference?
Thank you.

@macken that code didn’t work. found a plugin that can remove the post dates, but it doesn’t offer comment date removal. Maybe it can’t be done by css, needs php filter? I don’t know code…

In reply to: [Customizr] After update, appearance, “cutomize” no longer worksThanks for the reply Nicolas,
WP version is current. Deactivating plugins didn’t help. After CDN update the whole site was a white page, except the top menu. This was a child theme, so I activated the parent Customizr and all was good, except I lost customization’s. Thanks again for the quick response though.
Thanks Michael, your quick response to your plugin user’s issues do far more to get me to consider your pro version, than all of the upgrade now stuff. Thank you.
On the second point, your plugin has a box “Use Schema.org Markup” which I have checked. Does this have anything to do with it? Thank you again.
