PayPal Checkout does support payment authorization.
Take a look at this user guide
>5. Select a Payment Action from the drop-down. ‘Sale’ captures funds immediately. ‘Authorize’ only verifies the availability of funds; you must then capture the payment.
While you are still able to download WooCommerce PayPal Checkout on www.ads-software.com, this plugin is not longer available on WooCommerce.com. For future-proofing reasons, you might consider using the WooCommerce PayPal extension instead. It also supports payment authorization
>Intent – The intent to either capture a payment immediately or to authorize a payment for an order after an order is created.

Thanks for the reply! I don’t believe checkout latency would be the problem but there could be something else at play we’ve not yet identified.
– Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
– The Pixel Helper extension, can give us a screenshot of what they see when it’s installed. I recommend https://snipboard.io for sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL in the reply. It works with Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
– Do the 9 orders that were counted have anything in common that are different from the 7 that weren’t? Different status, product type, shipping, etc?
– Lastly, check the Error Logs (WooCommerce > Status > Logs) for any potential errors (general or specific). There is a dropdown menu, look for “fatal” with current dates.

I’m sorry you are having trouble connecting the Google Merchant account.
You should be able to use your existing google account to sign up or log in to Merchant Center – https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/188924?hl=en&ref_topic=3163841&visit_id=637595675609217321-2236525207&rd=1
>You’ll need a Google Account (like Gmail) to sign up for Merchant Center. If you don’t have a Google account, go to accounts.google.com and click Create account.
When you’re ready, go to Merchant Center and sign in with your Google Account to get started.
Are you able to login in to the merchant center with your existing account?

The Standard rates in the setting did show rates in Colorado, but I never entered this information.This is actually the expected behavior. By default, sales taxes are only required for your shop’s “Tax Nexus”.

I’m sorry you’ve had a frustrating experience with WooCommerce Shipping.
It’s odd that you were charged for 3 labels.
WooCommerce Shipping uses Jetpack to connect back to our servers. Maybe there is an issue with your Jetpack connection?

Thanks for including your system status report! The first thing I notice is that you are running WC Version: 3.9.0. However, it looks like you still need to run the database updates – WC Database Version: 3.8.1.
This is a great place to start troubleshooting. You can manually run the updates in WooCommerce>Status>Tools tab. Click on the option to “Update database”
Note: This tool will update your WooCommerce database to the latest version. Please ensure you make sufficient backups before proceeding.
I can see the inactive plugin “ATUM Inventory Management for WooCommerce: by Stock Management Labs? – 1.6.6” Was this recently deactivated? Were you using it at some point and inventory was working correctly? Have you cleared your site cache since it was disabled?

I am curious if there are any fatal errors in the logs when this happens. You can check in WooCommerce>Status>Logs tab. Look in the dropdown for recent fatal error logs.
