    I’m really sorry about what happened to you! If you can just post the domain you registered with us, I’ll make sure everything is sorted out for you as soon as possible!

    I can’t find your account otherwise, we also don’t have anybody on our staff named “victor” right now so I can’t find what happened that way… did the person you dealt with maybe have a similar sounding name?

    You shouldn’t need to register a new domain when setting up hosting with DreamHost… there’s two radio buttons on that page, one to register a new domain and one to use one you already have?

    I’m not sure why the free trial didn’t work right, but we definitely will do our best to get to the bottom of this!

    Hey there!

    Could you post what your domain name is you used with DreamHost? I can then look into your account and fix the billing error. Also, how did you contact us? Did you go to our panel and use the contact support button? Did you try the live chat or contact us form at dreamhost.com itself?

    I’m sorry about the mix-up, we’ll get it sorted out I promise!

    Maybe that should be turned off by default?
