Ok, as I could figure out: Firefox and Chrome open on my computer the site in a smaller size than in original. Don’t know why.
    I don’t use any non-default-browser-preferences in Safari.

You are right: This will affect only a very few people. I’m glad, this is not a bug.
    Thanks for your help! ??

    Now I found it:
In Safari the font is quiet big, so I always make it smaller (with Apple-button and “-“). After I do so, the widget-area is always shown below each other, when I change to different sites… In other browsers this is no problem. I can change the size as I want and the widget area is always working.
Turning off the extensions didn’t make any difference.

    Hi Kathryn,

I also use Safari 7.0.6 on Mac 10.9.4. And it is still not working on Safari… Strange!

    Hi!

I have a similar problem. I would like to change the yellow bottom background into another color. I read this whole thread, but I don’t understand, what to do.

I use Mac, Cyberduck and Smultron and am searching for the yellow (#feffe0) in the whole code. I found it only in the style sheet. But when I change it there, it makes no difference.

Anybody out there who can help me?
