Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: brining back to life a blog – database backupOK. After I hit the UPGRADE button, my homepage is still “NOT FOUND” and when I try to log in, it tells me “invalid user”. So I went to my wp_users table and ran a query through which I’ve created an wordpress admin user (something like “insert into wp_users values (‘1’, ‘admin’,’pass’, ”, ”, ‘etc’…).
Now, my home page is still the “NOT FOUND” one and when I try to log in, I get this error page about permissions: “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”. I’ve done some research and still couldn’t find a straight answer. What can I do now?

In reply to: brining back to life a blog – database backupAnyone?
Hey, I appreciate all your help but what is it that you can’t understand? My last actions were:
1. Import with my Phpadmin my previous database.
2. Uploaded the 2.5.1 files with the correct db informations.
3. Hit the UPGRADE button and I GET THE ERROR SHOWN IN THE PRINTSCREEN.How can I fix this? What is it that I am actually doing it wrong? And please, give me some more alternatives in case one isn’t working… I spend too much time on this forum refreshing the page just to see if I got a reply…
I’ve uploaded the versions from the link above, one by one (2.3,2.3.1,2.3.2,2.3.3,2.5.1) leaving my initial database intact. Still nothing.
When I’ve uploaded the 2.5.1 again, I hit wp-admin/upgrade.php where I get the UPGRADE buttton (“Your database is out of date”) and I get these errors ( https://ziont.net/wp_upgrade.jpg ). I hit continue, I see that my blog is “installed” but no posts, categories, nothing. What can I do? Please…
