In reply to: [Postman SMTP Mailer/Email Log] Sparkpost integrationJust for my understanding and not meaning to be disrespectful to the Postman plugin developer, but if you use Sparkpost as your smtp relay service, why would you use the Postman plugin instead of Sparkpost’s own wordpress plugin?? Can anyone here please explain?

In reply to: [IP Geo Block] Option to allow authorized bots from blocked countries?Hello and thank you.
Are you, by any chance, thinking of including this option in the near future?
(front end IP blocking protection i mean)Hi,
sorry but i don’t think this is the issue. I have just installed the plugin on 5 different websites as i want to replace Google Maps Widget with your plugin but i get that same error on all sites: There’s no “Add New” button appearing AND there’s no default map appearing. So i can’t do anything.
WP Google Maps hasn’t been installed previously on any of these sites.
Can you please help. thx.Your quick answering is of much help, Jack. Thanks a lot. We’ll try and find another way forward now and will definitely be checking this space regularly.

In reply to: [Gwolle Guestbook] adapt some stylingHi Marcel,
that was fast! Thanks!
I think if you’d go with a (boring but neutral) light grey background it would match well with any modern theme, no matter what accent color chosen.
Just some different subtle color background for the admin entries is a good idea though.
grtz uit Antwerpen! ??

In reply to: [iQ Block Country] plugin blocks IP's that should not be blocked.Sorry, apparently while i was sending previous email the raw server logfiles from first week of January 2015 were sent to me. How can i get these to you? And what other info would you need from me?

In reply to: [iQ Block Country] plugin blocks IP's that should not be blocked.Hi, no i don’t have access at this time. I need to ask my hosting company and this will take time…
I the mean time the problem persists on more and more websites where i installed the plugin.
Is there any guideline you can already give me as to what should then be done at server level to avoid the problem from occuring again?
Also, i’ve noted that on some websites, when uninstalling the plugin completely and then re-installing it, it works properly.
On other sites (on same server) this does unfortunately not help. What advise can you give which i’ll then be able to pass on right away to the hosting provider?
Thank you.
Hi Cais,
to be honest, i’m not so sure.
Actually i’d like to see one XML sitemap, generated by any SEO plugin, showing the images from my gallery being recognised and correctly appearing in the page_sitemap.xml under the page where i put the gallery. Under the column with “Images” it always shows zero, zip, nada, whereas it should show the number of images that are actually contained within the gallery on that page. (+ eventually other images on that page that are not inside the gallery of course).I’m not interested in attachment_sitemap.xml. And by the way, that shows zero for image count on every page as well anyhow…
The only gallery i can get this to work properly is the default WordPress Gallery.
As far as Yoast’s SEO plugin is concerned, please see here:
https://yoast.com/wordpress-seo-content-analysis/
Please read the last two (short) chapters of his blog post…As it seems that today, more than a year later, the same problem is still persisting.
And as it seems that both Yoast SEO & NextGen are among the most used plugins on WP, wouldn’t it be a good idea for one of you guys to put their pride away, and open up some sort of dialogue that would help get rid of this issue and allow for a huge community of enthousiastic but frustrrted SEO purists to keep enjoying both your solutions?
I’m a paying customer of both yours and their premium versions and terribly annoyed to be honest. As far as i can see / understand no matter which gallery (plugin or default WordPress) you wil use, it’s just the same: the images are not added to the XML Sitemap through Yoast’s WordPress SEO.
I’ve tested 4 plugin types:
– Envira Gallery
– SharePrint
– AutoGrid
– default standard WordPress GalleryAnd there was no way i managed to get the images of those galleries appear in the XML Sitemap generated by WordPress SEO by Yoast.
I would be VERY happy though if anyone could prove me wrong by either telling me which gallery plugin to use where this WILL work or telling me what i’m doing wrong in my WordPress SEO settings.
All suggestions welcome…
