In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] Not Compatible with SG OptimizerSounds good. I love SG Optimizer and am sad that I have to disable it for AMP. I hope that you find a solution and if you need anything from me let me know!

In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] Not Compatible with SG Optimizerhttps://www.maximumoffgrid.com and it affects the entire site.
Basically, when I have SG Optimizer activated, my website fails AMP test (https://search.google.com/test/amp). It also fails on my Google Search Console.
When I deactivate SG Optimizer, it passes AMP test.
I went one by one deactivating plugins and found that SG Optimizer is the issue.
The error I was getting:
Only amp-boilerplate and amp-custom ‘style’ tags are allowed, and only in the document head.
I have not started fiddling with SG options yet, I imagine it would be due to a front-end conflict.
For now, I have it disabled.

In reply to: [AMP] AMP Validation in WordPress but not in Google Search ConsoleSorry I haven’t gotten back to this issue sooner. I work 60 hour weeks and with the virus crisis, I have been a bit busy.
So I isolated my issue to the plugin SG Optimizer. I am suspecting that SG Optimizer is not compatible with AMP.
I believe this to be the issue because I was also having issues getting AMP to validate with the plugin, AMP for WP.
Once I disabled SG Optimizer, I was able to get both the official AMP and the AMP for WP to work and get my AMP validated through Webmaster Tools.

In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] Not Compatible with SG OptimizerActually, after trying several solutions, I believe that SG Optimizer is not compatible with AMP!
Once I disabled SG Optimizer, I tested AMP and it was valid.
So I think it is not an issue with your plugin, it is an issue with SG Optimizer and AMP.
I will follow up with SiteGround to see what they have to say.

In reply to: [AMP] AMP Validation in WordPress but not in Google Search ConsoleSO this is a curious result. I actually disabled AMP plugin and Google Search Console went from “invalid” to “pending”. So it is going to crawl the pages and give me a result “in a few days”.
Not sure how all that will work out but it is a bit strange! What do you think?

In reply to: [AMP] AMP Validation in WordPress but not in Google Search ConsoleSo I updated all my fonts to system fonts. I did not have any plugins specifically for fonts installed. I cleared my cache.
I am using Astra theme, which claims they are AMP compatible. I was able to pass validation in Google Search Console for a couple of weeks, then the error occurred.
I still am getting the error in Google Search Console. Any ideas as to why this is still persisting?

In reply to: [AMP] AMP Validation in WordPress but not in Google Search ConsoleI see. Those are Google fonts but not entirely sure why they would be loading funny. When I get home tonight I will check it out. Could be a plugin or I will switch over to standard fonts. Thanks!

In reply to: [AMP] AMP Validation in WordPress but not in Google Search ConsoleMy URL is maximumoffgrid.com and now all my pages show an error on Google Search Console, but they still show as good on my AMP plugin.
Ah! OK! cool! Yes, it is working, thanks for the tip! I appreciate it!
Ok, so I disabled Hummingbird which is my jquery deferring plugin, and any other plugin that might defer jquery. I still cannot get the banner to pop up.
Do you know how to manually remove the defer?
Sorry, I am just not developer literate.
I also use beaver builder as my website editor, not sure if that makes a difference.
TIA!
Ah, thanks for the quick response. I am tinkering with it now. I do not know how to remove the jquery defer, but I will try to figure out. TY!

In reply to: Remove ATTACHMENT PAGE Permalinks! Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, with the latest update to WordPress, there is no option to not create a permalink. The option is to not link it to a URL, but it still makes a permalink. Unless I am not seeing some sort of option? If so, please let me know how to disable the permalink creation.
I have figured out a solution. The only way to circumvent the problem is to make an image directory in my website files, and use images directly from the directory. Its way cleaner and no permalinks whatsoever.
I just use my FTP client to upload images to my folder and then attach images via URL in WordPress. Sure, I won’t be able to use media gallery in wordpress, but that’s slow and clunky anyways.
So far this is the best solution I have come up with and I think it will drastically cut this bloat nonsense.
If anyone sees any cons to this strategy let me know.
All I can say is that when I disabled all-in-one the spinning wheel of death goes away.
But now, even when I do disable it, I still have the spinning wheel.
I have disabled soooooo many plugins and one by one elementor becomes incompatible.
Makes me wonder if its something beyond the plugins.

In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] I have a solution fix plugin 100% worked@yaniiliev The new version of your plugin is NOT working. I have tried it with various internet connections, all good and strong.
I have used your plugin for years, your new release fails. BUT, this old version works 100%. I hope you can fix the new version.
