Hi Tatiana,

creating galleries with one image was my first idea as well. However, this is no real option due to it’s aesthetic limitations: While a single image may be regularily inserted in an article aligned left or right with the text flowing around it, you can’t achieve that with a gallery (which always uses the total width of the page with no text allowed aside to it). Plus it would require to edit a lot of articles manually.

The first image at the beginning of the article should remain as it is, but it would be nice to have the four rows of three-image-galleries further down spiced up with “Polaroid Gallery”!

A quick way to achieve this would be an option to enable/disable the lightbox functionality of “Polaroid Gallery”. With the fancybox disabled, I could continue to use another plugin for just that (like “Easy Fancybox”) without having two plugins with similar functionality struggling for air superiority… ??

P.S.: I’m fascinated by your traveling blog. I can’t decipher the cyrillic characters, but the photos are awesome!

Hi, unfortunately, no. Polaroid Gallery currently offers very few configuration options (and has some annoying glitches as well). That’s why I thought that adding a “polaroid” feature to a very sophisticated plugin like Easy FancyBox would be better (and probably easier) than the other way round (trying to lift a very basic plugin to the quite sophisticated level of Easy FancyBox)… ??

I have a similar issue here: After updating my ten WordPress installations to Wptouch 4.3.13.1, four blogs switched some colors in mobile view: headers, hamburger menu and date bubbles that very previously defined as a very light grey are now shown in black, which results in poor contrast to the main color. Adding the CSS snipped shown above to Custom CSS doesn’t change anything. Do I have to perform a rollback to the previous plugin version to restore the previous look or is it only a matter of days before a new version will be published with this issue resolved?

Found it out myself:

}

removes the capitalization in the links to the previous and the next article. ??

This works great for the page head area, but what CSS snipped is to be added to remove the capitalization in the footer area as well, i.e. in the links to the previous and the next article?

thanks for adressing the issue! OK, here’s my detailed bug report. As I wrote in my very first post above, hava a look at my blog at

and scroll down the sidebar: You’ll notice a column of four randomly chosen photos (thumbnails) which are linked to their respective articles. I think that this is a clever way to bring old articles back to the visitor’s attention again. Here is an example of one of the “quotes” I use:

Adding a quote like this doesn’t work on first try: Actually, the new quote is created upon saving, but it is empty and does not contain a single character anymore. However, I’m able to edit the new quote, paste in the code snipped as shown above once again and save it a second time. Then it works and the new quote is active, usable and working.

This strange behaviour came up with one of the last plugin updates. It worked well “in the old times” without any issues for years!

I have to report a serious malfunction: Adding new quotes doesn’t work anymore on first try: If you save a new quote, it’s content is lost. However, if you edit the new (but empty) quote, saving it again works fine. So it is still possible to add new data, but it would be appreciated if you could fix the issue. Thanks!
