Sure, you can use our features board to?Suggest a Shipping Provider?and you’ll get an email notification once there is an update about your request.
You can also create the custom shipping provider using the AST PRO.

We removed the updated tracking order status from plugin so once you disable the Updated Tracking order status its removed.
Navigate to WooCommerce > Shipment Tracking > Settings and open the Fulfillment Workflow Panel and check the Updated Tracking order status.

We updated the tracking URL of Franch Express to AST’s shipping providers list, please sync the shipping providers list to update the information on your store.
To sync the provider’s list, navigate to WooCommerce > Shipment Tracking > Shipping Providers, and from the top-right drop-down menu, click on Sync Providers.

We checked this in our developmet store but we can’t replicate any issue in our store.
Maybe you have conflict with anoher plugin. Try to deactivate all other plugins except the AST and WooCommerce and check again.
