Thanks for your reply, Herman. I do have a header on my website but it doesn’t appear in the menu of the app – I only have the footer listed there. Is this because it was created outside the app? I was sure I did use the app but perhaps not. Sorry if this question seems silly – I’m a beginner! Thanks, Karen

Thanks for your reply. It’s strange because when I right-click on the banner/logo and try to save, it’s identified as a webp. But I can see for you it’s not.

How do I edit my header? Would you be able to advise me? I could do it before but now I can’t find the option within WordPress.

I should say, I have now restored my website to a previous version so I think the logo is ok now. But can anyone tell me why they think this happened and why the maximum logo width is 600px? Thanks.

I tried uploading a new header image and it’s much much better now, so that’s good enough for me. I don’t understand it because the new header is not very different, but I won’t question it too much! Just glad it’s (pretty much) fixed.

Thanks, @bedas . I can see you really know your stuff. I’m an absolute beginner so that wasn’t easy for me to understand.
Can you explain what I would do exactly to achieve the below? I tried adding it in Appearance > Customise > Additional CSS but it didn’t do anything.
