Uploading onto a portfolio page, you upload images through the portfolio medias section. This only seems to allow for either image or video. How can I select the option for both?

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately though this one seems to use the wordpress functionality of password protect, but it appears it allows for one central login place. So the way my portfolio is laid out, the upon clicking the thumbnail, the page still displays as is shown in the screenshot above.
