In reply to: [SEO & redirect] This is using wrong sitemap, how to fix?So, after looking at their fix, it appears the problem wasn’t with our plugin, rather with WordPress being in a subfolder, which does cause problems. Nonetheless, we are here to help.

In reply to: [SEO & redirect] This is using wrong sitemap, how to fix?Okay, so what we know so far is 3 things:
1. Yoast over-rides the out of the box WordPress sitemap with their own.
2. You need to be running version WP 5.5 for that sitemap to be available
3. Not all hosting companies, the place you store your website on support the SimpleXML PHP extension that powers the sitemap. We are continuing to do research, but please feel free to reach out to us via email.

In reply to: [SEO & redirect] This is using wrong sitemap, how to fix?Hi Laura,
Apologies for not patrolling the free forum more diligently. This appears to be a plugin clash, between us and yoast. The plugin we generate is the sitemap generated by WP out of the box. We believe yoast is generating their own. We will look into a solution for this.Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [SEO & redirect] Is PlanetZuda a hacker? There was code that made the redirects work for some and not for others, we are very sorry that occurred and our paid team worked very hard on this free plugin to ensure that we fixed any and all issues, which we did.
It would be polite if you reflected that in your reviews. No, we aren’t hackers in the sense you imply here to mean criminals. We help protect against criminals in our cyber security work. It would be lovely to see a higher rating.

In reply to: [SEO & redirect] Redirects are totally brokenLet me provide you with the inside workings of our devoted team to this FREE, open source software.
A problem came up with the redirect editor, so our team convened in different nations addressing it. We also addressed removing the regression, the old features that we removed a year ago and in the process of ensuring redirects worked the best possible we overlooked that code that was harmless.
The code has now been removed. Also want to set the record straight on something to do with a security hole. I inaccurately said the last major security hole was fixed in 2.3 from the original owner, that is inaccurate. I meant to say 1.3 and misread your comment, as we still have people using 1.3. 2.3 is secure and has no known security holes. We have an email security@planetzuda.com if anyone finds something.

In reply to: [SEO & redirect] Redirects are totally brokenYou are referring to 3.7, 3.8 doesn’t have any of the code you mentioned above.

In reply to: [SEO & redirect] Redirects are totally brokenWe have everything working great in the version we published 2 minutes ago. We have spent a lot of time making sure this free, open source plugin is the best on WordPress.

In reply to: [SEO & redirect] Redirects are totally brokenThis was accidentally put within a security if statement, so we just moved the pre_get_posts outside of the security if and now the redirects are improved. Apologies for the inconvenience.

In reply to: [SEO & redirect] Redirects are totally brokenThank you for your perspective, however the versions have worked great since 2.3. 2.3 is interesting for you to mention it. If we recall that version correctly from our documentation, we had just inherited the program and had fixed very big gaping security flaws. 2.3 was the last version where the former programmer made redirects able to be changed by anyone in the entire world with no authorization.
Having that section of that code work flawlessly across all platforms and configurations has been challenging off and on. We have to balance security and of course functionality, but we are a security company, so we take security as paramount.
We are aware of the error you are mentioning and will have it addressed shortly. We have a team working on making it function the best, most secure way possibly without impairing usability.

In reply to: [SEO & redirect] Redirects are totally broken“You’ll notice that the function redirect() is never called from anywhere, so there is no way for this plugin to actually work.” We just want to let you know we are highly investigating any irregularities in the code. we have spent over a thousand dollars ensuring the functionality and usefulness of this free, open source program. Our commitment to the open source community never wavers, we have a team looking into this right now.
“just like the last bug which I reported, you have proven to me that your plugins cannot be trusted. I’m out.”
We are certainly sorry you feel that way. We are always working to give you the best software and we are addressing any possible issue in the code right now.

In reply to: [SEO & redirect] Redirects are totally brokenYou mentioned 2.3.0, that is what we are referring to.

In reply to: [SEO & redirect] Redirects are totally brokenWe would be happy to take a look at the older version you have and ensure everything is functioning as it is supposed to be. Unfortunately, there is no data in this post to help us with that. Ensuring the functionality and accuracy of our software is very important to us.

In reply to: [SEO & redirect] Redirects are totally brokenWe just checked and it still works all features available. We did remove the security check as no one paid for the premium version and it was costing us 300 dollars a year to let you use it for for free. The redirect editor is still there as are some SEO features we’ve put links in.
If you could provide the operating system and version of wordpress you’re running. we are happy to help you out.
