Our “Yoast SEO” 5.4 was causing this WordPress database error too, visible on the Admin Desktop.

WordPress database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘%1$s)’ at line 3]

SELECT internal_link_count, incoming_link_count, object_id FROM …_yoast_seo_meta WHERE object_id IN (%1$s)

We have WordPress 4.8.2.
Yoast SEO update onto 5.5. helped, the error seems to be away.

The provided “No: Do not use SMTP authentication” option in the “WP Mail SMTP” plugin doesn’t work. This plugin works only if you use authentication – which is a nonsense if you want only to SEND your emails.

So for me this plugin was useless. From me only 1 star.

thanks for the answer. I tested it and it works. But this change will be overriden during next plugin updates becasue we just changed a core file of the plugin.
I need a function, that I could insert into functions.php of my child theme.

I tested the inserted [your-message] in the “Message Body” – the mail still looks exactly the same, still no link of the download.

By the way there is no field [your-message] in my form. Only [menu-493] (for Mr. Mrs.),[firstname],[lastname],[company],[country],[your-email] and[Phone].

The donator has to be able to print his donation receipt and submit it to the local Tax Authority. The German Tax Authority accepts only donation receipts, that have the predefined official donation receipt form:
https://www.finanzamt.bayern.de/Informationen/Formulare/Weitere_Themen_A_bis_Z/Spenden/Geldzuwendung_steuerbeguenstigte_Einrichtung.pdf

Therefore I guess the only possibility is to generate a PDF or a Word-Document file, to fill it out with donators data from the IPN table and to send it per email as an attachment to the donator. Afterwards the donator can print it.
