Still no answers?

Okay, database dumped, text searched-and-replaced, database dropped, new database executed into MySQL, still the same problem.
At at the very least, this was a quick way to fix links that would have been pointing to the wrong location in old blog posts.

Now what do I do?

What is the best way to do a “Search and Replace” on my database?
I am not familiar with manipulating MySQL in such a way.

Okay, I have a problem now, when I enabled multiple sites, after configuring .htaccess and wp-config.php, I keep getting “Error establishing database connection”.
I have followed the steps three times, the first time was successful then I realized that I needed to put WordPress into the root directory to have it work properly, I disabled/removed multiple sites from the configuration file and proceeded to follow steps to move the WordPress directory.
The second and third times I tried enabling it, I got the error I described above.

I realize it has only been one day, but for me this is critical so I am giving it an early bump.
