In reply to: [Jetpack VideoPress] Error when uploading mp4 video filesThank you Emily! Will await the answer from your developers then.
Sure! Now, I have made a HUGE workaround with CSS and the Screenshot field on the movie pages to hide the second “You have to sign in to view this movie”-box.
As you can see in the screenshot, that is how it looks by default after the update. I have hidden that second box (it is the Description field) with CSS now, and instead used another field “Screenshot” to display an IMAGE of the text we have in the Description field.

To compare, look at the screenshot (how it looks default) and then on the site https://www.zeezome.com/movie/crucified-barbara/ (where I have made the workaround using an image as the movie description. The text that begins with “In this revealing…”).
Thank you,
/Lise

To clarify our issue a bit more and this is URGENT!
After update of PMS to 2.12.6 the Description field on our movie pages have ended up as Content restricted (when visiting the site as anonymous user). So when a user that has not signed in visits a movie page, they cannot see the Description field of the movie. It says that the user must “Sign in or register to view the content”. Please advise how to solve this! You can check out this page and see that there are TWO restriction fields on the page:?https://www.zeezome.com/movie/crucified-barbara/
We are using the Streamit template with Elementor.
Thank you!

In reply to: [Jetpack VideoPress] Error when uploading mp4 video filesOkey cool thank you!
We need to certain that when someone watches a video mulitple times, it will only be counted as 1 view? It is a crucial feature before bying VideoPress.
If we buy VideoPress from you with 1 TB storage, will the movies be moved out of the Media library then or where do we add the movies after that?
Thank you!

In reply to: [Jetpack VideoPress] Error when uploading mp4 video filesIt works on our public site. But only if I upload it into Media. Will the VideoPress work if we store our movies on File Manager in WordPress?
More questions:
– Is it possible to get statistics on UNIQUE views of each videos?
– Is it possible to remove the “Share” arrow up in the right corner of a video? We cannot reveal any URLs on our site.thank you!

In reply to: [Jetpack VideoPress] Error when uploading mp4 video filesHi both!

Got it, thank you!
Hi. Thank you for your answer! I don’t think you read my message clearly. We have all those settings you recommend already. The problems is this, and please read carefully:
When using the combination:
We are renting out movies for 24 hours or 48 hours. Then we cannot have the option “Renew automatically” for obvious reasons! Therefore, we have the setting “Never renew automatically” in PMS. Now, THIS COMBINATION shows a button “Create an account” as mandatory on PayPal. We do not want to require this from our viewers. They should be taken to “Use PayPal or CreditCard” directly.
Something has changed, it used to work perfectly before. Something has changed either in your PMS Plugin or at PayPal. But we have checked our settings in PayPal, and they are correct as you suggested as well.
So how can we offer the “Never renew..” to our users without being forced to create an account at PayPal?
Thank you.
