    Hello all,

I was able to install WordPress stand alone on my server and turned subdomain to true. I also sat SSL supposed to be for wildcard and domain.com.
now if I open my site, I only can open default site as domain.com, if I add www, it takes me to the initial Apache / Fedora page… I been working on this for almost three weeks and frustrated as a lot of Garbage information on the Net. The other issue when I’m logged in wp-admin main site and want switch to the subdomain site .. it takes me to https://subdomain.domain.com and the page shows not found. If I remove the s from https, then I can go to it and edit and work find. … if I want visit the site I have also to go to http and not https even the wildcard is installed from letsencrypt. I have looked at httpd.conf, wp-conf.php, .htaccess and lots more including white pages, crashes .. just to get the problem resolve and I’m going in circles .. I hope that someone can help me here and will be much appreciated !

You must first make sure that the domains you want (whether with or without SSL) are possible in your hosting. You are talking about the Apache web server, presumably you first have to define the permitted domains for the host you are using. How exactly this is done depends on how you manage it in this hosting. Your host’s support team will be able to help you with this.

For WordPress, it is only relevant that the domains via which it should be accessible are also accessible. WordPress cannot help with the setup in the hosting.

Today, I got the subdomain working by it self. I guess some of the changes I did yesterday propagated, the only thing I can think off is adding all created three SSL certificates to my https.conf site.

    One problem remains.

I still can go to Apache initial page when I type https://www.domain.com, but can go to site domain.com and every thing work correctly. so I need to make https://www.domain.com point to domain.com. or fix the www some how.

Please let me know your thoughts. .. Thanks All

You must make settings in your web server for every possible call to the domain. This means both with www and without, as well as with https:// and https://.
