Images and HTML in emails

Do you have images set to show in emails in GMail? I’m pretty sure they’re off by default.

I thought about that at first, but I always get images in emails so it isn’t that.

When you get the email in GMail is there a link about viewing images near the top of the email?

Have checked in the source code of the email?

Does the image tag use an absolute URL (starting with https://) or a relative URL (starting with something like /wp-content/)?

It was neither, it had the full url but without the https://

I added the https:// and it didn’t make a difference.

did you try to change mail sending method eg. smtp then your gmail account to rule out any server issues?
