Double Redirects

great plugin, I have one small issue though. I’m using the plugin for my non-www https website, when I check my redirect with f.e. redirect-checker.org I see a double 301 redirect which isn’t quite good for SEO:
https://www.wpwebshop.com => https://www.wpwebshop.com => https://wpwebshop.com
Everything looks fine at the configuration screen, all green marks, just want to get rid of that 2nd redirect as it impacts Google rankings with another 15% loss (see recent case study on Moz, https://moz.com/blog/accidental-seo-tests-how-301-redirects-are-likely-impacting-your-brand )
Removing the code from htaccess didn’t work (only redirects https://www.domain.com to https://domain.com, not https://), so I hope you have a solution for this, thank you!
