I did everything according to the instructions, but it still gives me an error. Why?
I moved sunrise from the plugin to wp-content.
In wp-config.php I am below the line
“define(‘BlOG_ID_CURRENT_SITE’, ‘1’ );
he added
“define(‘SUNRISE’, ‘on’ );”
and it gives me an error in the administration:
Please edit your /data/web/virtuals/313561/virtual/www/wp-config.php and move the line define( ‘SUNRISE’, ‘on’ ); above the last require_once() in that file or make sure you updated sunrise.php.
Why? What did I do wrong? Thank you for your help.

I have a multi site install. Main (1) and secondary (2, 3) sites working correctly.
The problem is i’m trying to set a third secondary site (4), but it’s still leading to webhost’s page no matter i set it following the same pattern as for those working.
I have access to dashboard only if the site’s url in Network/Edit site is set this way: https://mainsite.com/site4/
As soon as i set it to site4.com, i get this message: Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page instead of dashboard, and frontend still shows host’s page.
In Network/Edit site/Settings, site url and home are both set as site4.com.
Any hints?

I have a multisite with 6 different sites.
Some sites work perfectly. Whereas others keep getting a JSON error when I try to create a new page.
I tried to replicate the issue by doing the following:
1. Delete old site
2. Recreate it
3. Active MU Domain Mapping plugin (only plugin now active on this site)
4. Create new domain
5. Edit site on admin-page and change the Siteurl and Home to the same values as the new site (including the https://)
6. Attempt to create new page.
7. Get error on save.
When I go to my site-health, I get this RestApi error:

Is this plugin supported anymore?
Today I noticed that I can’t access all my domains’ configuration, because “Domain Mapping: Domains” page shows only last 20 domains without any pagination etc. Here’s a screenshot:

To access other domains (not listed), search box must be used, which is very unhandy.
Any chance we can get a support / update for this bug to be fixed?

]]>This domain is setup as a subsite within discountedhockeyequipment.com. If I am logged in, it works perfectly well. I can edit the site under the domain (thehockeydoctor.ca), I can browse it and everything works perfectly… but if I am not logged in, it reverts to the root domain (the main website). Everyone else who visits the URL gets redirected to the root also.

Is it possible to map 2 domains to 1 url?
We have this primary domain: example.com/tw/
and we want our 2 domains (example.com.tw and example.tw) to map to example.com/tw/
If user visits example.tw, the end url is example.tw
If user visits example.com.tw, the end url is example.com.tw
If user visits example.com/tw/, the end url is example.com/tw/
After mapping the 2 domains, we still want the primary domain to be accessible.

I installed the plug-in on a multisite with a main domain and two sub-domains, moved sunrise.php to correct location, and added the sunrise line to wp-config.
At that point, I no longer have access to the WordPress installation; the website is no longer available after showing 500 internal server error and ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS. Deleting cookies doesn’t help.
I do have access via FTP. I deleted the plugin via FTP, deleted sunrise.php as well as the sunrise line in wp-config. But that did not fix this issue, still no access to the webpage – frustrating.
What is going wrong here? Can you help me to gain access again to the web page, please?

We have WordPress Multisite with MU Domain Masking setup.
It works great!
However, our host recently changed our server IPs, and all of our DNS settings have been updated, with the exception of DNS owned by one of our clients that we do not manage.
As such, the site is unreachable now.
I would like to be able to safely revert the MU Domain Masking only for this site through the web server directly, since I have lost admin access to the WordPress panel. (At least until we receive confirmation from our client they have put the DNS changes in place – it’s been a week, and they have not yet.)
Strictly changing our siteurl and home in phpmyadmin database table for wp_options to the non-domain masked URL did not resolve.

domain_mapping_plugins_uri function keeps breaking the URLs. The substr( $full_url, stripos( $full_url, PLUGINDIR ) - 1 ) part changes /wp-content/mu-plugins/seravo-plugin into n. So instead of https://www.example.org/wp-content/mu-plugins/seravo-plugin/style/login-notifications.css I’m getting https://www.example.orgn/style/login-notification.css (notice the n on the domain) which obviously doesn’t work.
I’ve made sure it’s that function which makes the change.

When I deactivate the Domain Mapping plugin I can log in again.
Obviously I have tried to delete cookies; Same result.

]]>Can someone fix the Customizer so that it will work in multisite mode using Domain Mapping?
Currently, we get an error: Non-existent changeset UUID
This error is because the Home Page URL is different than the Site URL.
(Site Address URL and the Site URL can be set the same, but the Home Page URL is different)
When in Multisite mode, the customizer should not redirect its focus to the Home Page URl for the changeset UUID, but should remain focused on the Site URL or the Site Address URL.
This has been an ongoing problem for years, and it would be great if someone has skills to fix this issue.

]]>All of a sudden my multisite is no longer logging you in to the front end when using subdomain install. Chrome is now blocking cookies without the SameSite=None; Secure flag. Is there any way to force the WP login cookie to have the flag, or a work around? On another website https://www.kamerun.reisen, I have a similar problem, there only the logo appears, the images not. If I switch off domain mapping all is normal.
What to do in this case?

]]>I did some research in the forum and the FAQs and did read some a lot of stuff that answered most of my questions.
I know when it comes to SSL you need to have it on the main domain AND on the other domains and not have it in one and not on the other, I have the SSL on my current domain, but how would I go about adding SSL to all my other domains I plan to add?
Can i use something like zerossl.com for the other domains? or what would be the best way to make it so all of my domains have SSL?

Have a wp multisite and a few tld’s that are mapped to sites. now i do have a few tld’s lying around with ssl certificates so i often develop/stage a project with one of these tld’s, after development is finished we go live by mapping the real tld to the created site and there we go. So far so good. Just launched a new site in my network and mapped to a tl domain name. When i am logged in behaviour is as expected but not logged in (browser in anonymous mode) the domain name resolves in one of my previous projects…. wherefor ive used this dname temporarilyat staging/developing level.
All browser cache is flushed, same over FF and Chrome. Checked at server level: no redirects, tld points at folder where multisite is installed.now here comes the icepick in the forehead: on mobile it works without error!Does this mean that its not a mapping issue? Thnx for your thoughts
Even after I removed sunrise from wp-config and disabled the plugin, it is running. And if I delete sunrise.php file everything goes down and I get my sites back just through backup. How can I safely really remove this plugin? Thank you!

Domain mapping plugin is installed and seems to be configured as suggested. However, it throws up “Error. Page cannot be displayed. Please contact your service provider for more details.” Please help!
I have a multisite setup with more than 1300 sites on it. For most of this sites I use the domainmapper. I normally attach more than one domain to a site.
The problem however is that now I want to remove one of the older domains I can not find it anymore since the mapper doesn’t show all domains (I think its a maximum of 1000). So in my siteslist I can see a domain is attached to a site, but I can’t remove it anymore.
Is there a way to increase this maximum?

The sites with the mapped domains are missing the black admin toolbar at the top for authenticated users.
The sites that don’t use a mapped domain show the black admin toolbar as usual.

Disable primary domain check. Sites will not redirect to one domain name. May cause duplicate content issues. – On
The problem I’m having is that sub.example2.com has a redirect loop and I’m not sure why.
Would anyone have any ideas why this might be happening?
